Downsides: the material stains, so chose your inks carefully; the piston housing has been made of brass in the past and was changed to 3D-printed plastic, which breaks easily. Looks like this pen is using brass again. Its a massive pen. I have two. At the time I ordered mine, I got titanium Bock nibs. I didn't have to have either nib tuned. Very comfortable, as Steven has noted, but mine are definitely Namiki Emperor sized.
