TITAN SPRAY TIP REVIEW

This is a quick review on the 517 titan spray tip and how it performs against the graco 517 Ltx blue tip . This is just a personal opinion of how I thought the titan tip performed in building site conditions and on the outcome would I purchase this tip instead on the graco .

I Could Not Make it out for sure . But Were You Also Using a Clean Shot Valve on the extension?? I Know when I Use My Clean Shot I Have To Adjust it every time I Change Tip Size. Also I Think Some Of The Titan Green tips only work at low pressure so i am told? But I Have No Experience using those . The Graco X Tips Always Work Well For My Blow And Go Jobs At New Construction. Keep Up The Good Videos Sir . I Can appreciate Any Recommendations ..

Yea I do use a clean shot , for to admit I'm not keen on the titan and the wagner tips , much prefer the graco range

Hi all I’m using the lp523 green graco tips on my trytec t7 I mostly do mistcoating and find it puts a good cover on at a lesser pressure what life are you guys getting out of your tips?

I change my tips around 800 -1000 litres of paint. That's roughly around 10 - 12. Large 4 bed houses. I don't push past that otherwise there's to much overspray in the air and on the floor. Graco tips seems to start blowing around 600 -700 liters but you can usually do a few more 100 liters with the tip blown.

Yeah about same as I’m getting I’m using around 20 gal of mush per day plus water so my tips don’t last that long what’s you opinion of the triteck tips for doing decent mistcoat

@@gussclark5261 I prefer using the graco Ltx tips, they give a slightly rougher finish and the fan size is larger compared to the same tip size as a tritech. I do prefer the tritech on spraying colours , doing intricate work you can be very precise with those tips.

Yeah must say the graco ones seem alot better for coverage might up the size of my next tip for a wider fan hoping the logic of a wider fan might get me a bit more use out of it before it’s knackered

@@gussclark5261 yeah I do see where your coming from I use a 621 when I'm mistcoating , some of the boys at work use a 721

Doesn't make sense to me, if the same tip size but one clogged one doesn't then there must be some variations between different brand.

Hi Colin have you ever had any trouble with the blue graco tips clogging to the point where you can’t even turn the tip to unclog it? I’ve got a graco gx21 which suits me fine for the work I do but my tip keeps blocking its pissing me right off

Try using a finer gun filter that may help, if not maybe a finer manifold filter that one never even crossed my mind until I read the comment below

Sometimes it’s not blocked it maybe that it has moved and the pressure of the paint behind it prevents it from turning

Another great upload bud, what about tritech tips to graco ?? What think about. Which better. I put graco tip on my tritech and that happened same as you with titan tip, got pissed off just put tritech tip back on

It depends on what I'm doing , if I'm bashing in ceilings and walls together I prefer the graco puts a lot of paint on and the tips seem to have a wider fan to other tips the same size, if I need more accuracy , less over spray then I prefer to use tritech tips they just feel like you have more control of where your placing the paint ,So to your question I use both Niall.

@@nialloconnor5321 I've been really busy mate I haven't had the time to do any new uploads. I did finish that house but I've got no footage on it , I was ridiculously busy on the end of that job .

Ah understandable buddy, that's a shame I would of liked seen some footage looked nice house to decorate. I'm glad you are keeping busy, good to hear. If you do get time upload some footage of finishing woodwork 😊🤘

Yeah with the graco tips it don't happen with these other brands of tips you definitely have to strain the paint or maybe go down a size in filters
