Got a theory. That tethered thing was an air bag designed to raise the tail if emergency released. It probably was working, the current drifted that portion away from the main vessel, then ruptured when the force of the shock wave hit it. The legs are probably directly below the point they were released. If they were? The tail drifted in current, and the vessel may have still been under power. A detailed report of the debris field will definitely give a better understanding of what happened. Think someone reported that the debris was scattered over a 2.5km square field? Thoughts?

Excellent video nevertheless. I had initially assumed it was just ScrewTube screwing with you like they’ve consistently done after discovering you are extremely knowledgeable about many subjects involving engineering and scientific matters, you have integrity and that you are “BASED”. When you are actually interested in the truth and your channel starts increasing in popularity, the ‘ol game of “Shadow-Banning” with associated rotten tech tactics is quickly implemented. The Lefties cannot stand up to any sort of scrutiny or challenges made to their narrative.

I already addressed the soft landing hoax at the elevation they were at... It would drain the batteries and Rush made this clear in a dive where they dropped weights too soon and it took them way too long to resurface after the battery was dumped like that. Pay attention or I will have you sit in the front of the class.

Has anyone noticed the Coast Guard timeline of the dive is eerily similar to the so called “fake timeline “? The descent seems to be fast, he dropped weights early,communication problems, and the depth of the implosion is similar . The landing frame legs were also separated, which I suppose is nothing, but adds to the similarity of the fake timeline. Not to be a conspiracy theorist, but is it possible ? Communication of the CG timeline shows very little back and forth with the Titan for such an important mission.

Looks like they tied the tarp rope through the hole on the frame that you say isn’t elongated. Took me a while to pick up what you are saying. I think what you’re saying is there should be more damage to the tail section if it had been attached during implosion. That’s a very interesting theory. Lots of clues point to that being the case.

Also, I suppose we now know the tail end wasn't neutrally buoyant by itself, the foam helped make the entire vessel neutrally buoyant. Even under water, the tail was still heavy and straining the connections and torquing the rear titanium ring. When it came off, it went to the bottom like a dart.

May I make a point in your vid? The batteries & comms gear were housed in the tail cone and if that fell away like you stated, then everything would have ceased to operate and there would have no more comms from them This is just my thoughts so far
@PugFaceMedia
@PugFaceMedia 2 күн бұрын
Some random questions and thoughts. I agree with your theories and sorry if you already addressed these. I'm a busy guy haha. 1. I read PH's lawsuit. They claim they dropped 2 weights because they detected a problem and dropped the weights to abort. Do they know something we dont? (I don't agree with their claim btw). 2. Because they ratchet strapped the farings, would that suggest sometime prior to the last dive, some movement occurred to the rear end, serious enough to misalign the fairings, and / or strip some bolts / weaken the back end prior to the last dive? A witness did testify that a day before the implosion, there was a mishap, where the Titan was sticking up 45 degree and passengers piled on top of each other. There was more testimony of other physical mishaps with the Titan, including when it slammed on the deck and the front dome ripped off, all which could have weakened the rear end. 3. PP said two key things. A) They were getting a strong comms signal and B) The location pings were erratic. The contradiction is it appeared that comms were broken and spotty, yet PP said the signal was strong. I think if you look at the comms on both sides, it appears that objectively, it seemed like Stockton was distracted or preoccupied with something. There were huge delays in Titan communicating back. PP repeated messages numerous times. In fact, Stockton was so distracted that PH had to take over the comms. Does this indicate Stockton was aware of a problem and was in full panic mode, but he kept it to himself so as to not panic the billionaires? 4. Where are the cameras? Is the footage recoverable despite being exposed to that pressure? Few tourists travel without taking video or pictures, must less to the Titanic, an iconic destination. 5. Where are the skids? Why has there been no footage or mention of the skids? Did the rear end fall off, then they released the skids, then the titan sank to the bottom, then imploded? 6. The implosion being near the bottom, as you theorized, makes total sense to me. If the 3,500 pound domes and the rear end fell down from a longer distance, I would think they would have made a larger crater in the soft silt, and as you said, there are no streak marks. 7. They gov't claims the implosion sound they detected was about the same time they lost comms. Would that mean it did NOT implode closer to the bottom, or are they not telling us the correct time stamps of the implosion sound? I suppose when they said "about the same time", it could mean hours. 8. It's possible the coast guard / military is protecting the families of the victims from the added trauma of knowing their loved ones suffered for hours and possibly days, or maybe it's for some other reason. That's why they never released the exact time stamp of the implosion sound. nor the audio of the implosion. Imagine the optics if the Navy said "by the way, we heard the implosion 2 days after comms were lost". As you alluded to this... I think it's highly possible that the rear end "fell off". That's when comms were lost and they sank to the bottom. I further think they stayed on the bottom for hours or days, and the "banging noises" that they passed off as "natural ocean sounds" were really them banging on that dome for help.
@ForensicCats
@ForensicCats 2 күн бұрын
I agree, the Navy may decide that no reason to upset the family with the longer survival time... Recall other military and sonar equipment was deployed, I don't think they could hide implosion after the other sonar systems came on station, therefore I think it would have been from the USA 's secrete listening stations.

The titanium nose cap landed nose down into the silt. Likely it's streamlined and will fall in that orientation all the way, thus ending near the main wreckage as it did. What likely happened is that upon implosion the rear cone with all the technical stuff shot away into the distance (perhaps aided by current), and the heavy main section and the titanium nose cap fell straight down and stayed together. If you do a test with a similary shaped nose cap you will likely see that it falls straight down, and does not see-saw or go sideways. I think therefore that your theory about it imploding near the seabed is wrong.

I am at a firm belief that PH was at the controls as they were gettin close to the Titanic & it was the front ring where the ting & carbon fiber were bonded at. And it was at this junction that failed [first series of implosion events] and the porthole was blown out into the water column to land somewhere out in the distance. And that everyone was blown into the rear bulkhead as the implosion progresses. And the "remains" that were found were just fragments of teeth or bone. The force of the implosion was so forceful that even their clothing was fragmented into very tiny pieces These are just my thoughts and are subject to being changed based on new evidence presented by the hearings

there was a video posted not so long ago that theorized the sub free fell vertically before imploding. Do you think the loss of the tail cone/weight drop supports that theory? what is the weight distribution inside the sub required to keep it horizontal what would it take to change that - would the occupants inside have to sit in specific spots before and after weights released? I'm imagining eager passengers sitting front view window to see POI would unsteady it?

Well, this freefall , on this dive, reveals it was controlled descent and therefore Rush calculated his freefall rate and the amount of extra dead weight removed -- accurately... Unless he was using thrusters to maintain rate of descent and it appears he hit those thrusters a few times, as rate of descent was ranged differently from one minute to the next., Yes, water pressure will change rate of descent, that will slow in more dense water pressure.

I don't think so. But it's possible that the glue was almost coming apart on the connector ring, and all it took was the vibration from something moving to drop weights that finally broke the seal and caused the implosion.
@DarrylLeaning
@DarrylLeaning 2 күн бұрын
Looks pretty obvious the shock from the explosion seperated the tailcone, just as it sheard the locking bolts from the rear ring as the force of the implosion went rearwards at huge speed into the tail. The main, heavy and un streamlined wreckage had to have fallen almost but probably not quite straight down. The tail will have fallen heavy end first and in either a straight or spiralling descent directly based on the hydrodynamics of its shape. It's a very simple and obvious concept. Throw a mask and a dive weight, or a dive weight and a fin or a slate into a pool and everything falls differently, unless very heavy, in a spiral or see-saw fashion. Depending on the mass difference of the material falling and water, along with its speed, will determine possible glide ratios. If you drop the same thing five times, they wont all end up in the same place or distance from each other - thats not taking into account the dynamics of shape or weight change if more things fall off on the way down. Scott Did a pretty good guess in his video and he has a lot of experience with dynamics of flight, water and air act similarly in a lot of ways, they are both fluids.

I theorize he did not correctly determine his dead weight and live loads vs his ballast (that he should have dropped those weights when he was not in a predictable dead weight descent... Predictable and also safe rate of descent; too fast and a differential pressure is created and that can cause "damage" a descent speed /rate that does not cause significant pressure differential is critical. It appears this is no more than lower 30's or maybe even mid thirties (meters per minute).

I had to pause at an hour-fourteen minutes in. I love the math and going through the rate of descent. But, I don't agree about the cone falling off before the implosion or that it fell straight down. From the look of the wreckage, it seems pretty certain that the incipient of the implosion happened at the connection between the viewing port dome and the carbon fiber. As many other channels have mentioned, the difference in flexibility between the two materials put strain on those materials and the glue keeping them together. The surface for the glue applied to the dome ring was nearly a mirror finish, mixed and applied by hand in a non-sterile environment. All of these are factors for creating a weakened bond. Your video has led me to believe that the use of the thrusters and dropping of the weights caused enough radiant vibration, that it was the cause of the separation. The carbon fiber pulls from the dome ring, compacting itself into the aft dome. That action sends the dome ring outwards from the hull. The floor of the hull remains because there was another section under the floor that was made of metal. The compaction and water rush bends the aft ring, which sheers pins and bolts, dislodging the non-pressurized cone and forcing that piece away from the hull as well. It's kinetic force with its fin shape and unbalanced heavy weight towards the front-end would have the cone descend in a helical arc like the seed of a maple tree. This also explains how the cone landed with the heavier side downwards. I imagine some drifting had occured during the few days before finding the wreckage, but I wouldn't know how to account for that.

@lordvlygar2963 2 күн бұрын
Finishing the video. I agree that the implosion happened much closer to the floor. I did see noticeable sand drifting, so most trails would be virtually erased. I am eager to see what other factors and explanations are given during the trial.

@@ForensicCatsYes for the sand drifting and no for the wreckage drifting. I have no knowledge of the physics of sand on the ocean floor. I am under the assumption that the physics of sand and water are similar at a depth of 30 feet. From this, I am speculating that trails and impact zones have been "erased" due to ocean currents, shifting of the sand, and local fauna feasting on remains (I believe the crew would be marine snow).

I just saw a video by the channel of Scott Manley that explains the implosion better than I can of the failure point at the bow ring and carbon fiber hull. I still think that the vibration from dropping the weights lead to the failure, but I can't explain the time delay as they drifted closer to the floor before the implosion. Perhaps the relief of some strain by dropping the weights and then adding on more strain by going deeper left some cavitation at the failure point.

Is hyena number 1 a bath and tile guy turned engineering failure analysis expert? Heard they are considering him for the next director at NIST.... His work on the Dali-Key Bridge collapse is groundbreaking, apparently he was the first to release that the root cause of failure was a ship hit the bridge. Incredible genius, and amazing prices on all italian marble bath tile thru the end of September... Scott Manley may be wrong and said he could be. He did include it in past videos but did not dedicate one totally for that but more mention in his reports on other news, mostly space flight since hes a rocket scientist. That he didnt kind of suggests hes not in the same club as vulture number one. Big difference between a rocket engineer/astrophysicist discussing materials often used in that industry and a guy that made his name with scratchy photos of a sensationalized disaster where his expertise tied in with the pool tiling...

I can't wait to understand how all this crushed down into the aft dome. Edit: I think you are correct on everything. You just need additional info and pictures from the government. I'm thinking the backend fell off, they dropped weights to go back to the surface, but being still at a rate of 30M a minute, that wasn't enough to stop their decent. I would bet money that you are correct that they slowly floated toward the bottom until the point they imploded. My biggest question is what exactly caused the implosion. When the aft section with the equipment broke off, did that stress that back ring and it was over with at that point? Can't wait until your next video!

I already addressed the soft landing hoax at the elevation they were at... It would drain the batteries and Rush made this clear in a dive where they dropped weights too soon and it took them way too long to resurface after the battery was dumped like that. Pay attention or I will have you sit in the front of the class.

I noticed that too, but the more I thought about it, PP did mention that comms were strong on their end or something like that. I think Rush was in "oh shit" mode and was too busy trying to save all their lives than to answer quickly, or maybe Rush was literally taking his last shit under the front dome seat. That's why the French guy had to take over texting duties. Also, look at all the misspellings. Misspelled words / typos are a function of distraction and not a function of unreliable signals, I'd think.

For the Scott fanboys... Your comments were good until you touched on Scott coming up with his own theory on this and he said no one else came up with it; he used a mix of a lot of youtuber's data and published it as his.... All he had to do was to not say it was his idea... I can do a live video with him and it will reveal he made it up and not from his knowledge.

@ForensicCats
@ForensicCats 2 күн бұрын
Watch the beginning of the video again, I show orientation
@GeistView
@GeistView 2 күн бұрын
@@ForensicCats I did. You can't tell if the "floor" is in its original orientation compared to the aft ring. The floor would have been obliterated in the implosion. Especially the gear under the floor that wasn't capable of that level of pressure. All that would have imploded as well. The failure was more then likely at the front hemisphere where the plunge cut was made for the O-ring dove tail. The opening is on both sides of the seal. Water found a way around that seal and the ocean wanted in. Once the implosion pressure wave was rebounding that was when the front window was poped out. Everything and everyone was squeezed like toothpaste into the rear hemisphere. The "tube" was crushed in on itself like crushing a toilet paper tube from the sides.

So, CG only supplied limited video. Clear the crew were smashed nearby. Can't show that without family's anger. Can't insinuate it happened on the bottom later than 10:47. Implies fear & suffering, and that something could have been done to save them. Yes, it happened 15 ft above the floor. Probably didn't have enough thruster power to lift the vehicle off the bottom. Using the battery power to try to surface. Then it went dark. You might learn something if CG submitted all they know. Certain to be heavily edited. Have enough time to lift key components of vessel. But not enough to submit mountains of video from a well camera'd sub. Now you get CG's narrative, bad Rush, good CG, and all. Winners tell the story. Little hope of helping, if you are 2 miles underwater, with no second vessel.

I think the thrusters took power from the battery packs from the tail cone -- I'm saying the thrusters were useless to them and maybe even the airbag on the body of the Titan be the reserve tank was also on the aft / tail cone . I am not sure how much pressure was created once the rear came off, but it opened the rear, via the interface ring ports
