ProTip: make sure you can work the bolt before drilling, heh.
@VaMike92 жыл бұрын
Yes, the bolt works fine, but did forget to mention that you guys will need to allow enough clearance with bolt removal for cleaning.

Does it hinder bolt removal for cleaning?
@VaMike93 жыл бұрын
Yes, the placement needs to be far enough to the rear for bolt removal. Take care

How flexible is this cheek riser i have been trying to find a cheek riser for my p90 because my optic sits too high and im having no luck finding one?
@VaMike93 жыл бұрын
It is a solid cheek riser that I find very comfortable and well designed.

Great video. Anyone know if the cheek riser will fit a Encore Pro Hunter Haus of Arms stock?
@VaMike94 жыл бұрын
It's flexible... So I think it'll work fine. Thanks

Thanks so much for the reply. I'm going to give it shot. Also got a reply from Marty at Haus of Arms. What a great company to deal with.

As I live in the UK I am not familiar with the expression of a 'won & done'! Me, I'm not a fan of drilling holes in any of my stocks. I still, dont see how this guy/product has even attempted to get the correct height for the comb, could be too high or too low seems like its 'all or nothing'. Not a very good solution.
@VaMike94 ай бұрын
The expression is "one and done," meaning you don't have to mess with it. For the sake of time, I don't include every process or calculation I made per scope ring height/ cheekweld. There are included spacers that you can add under the cheek riser for the best cheekweld for you. I generally get it close and dial out parallax, which has worked well for me in the past. You can even epoxy the spacers together for a more rigid fit if you like. As a side note, I'm not a fan of cheap factory stocks, but this was one that a relative liked, so I made it more functional. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the video. Have you had any movement or shifting as it's on a Remington 700? What caliber are you running?
@VaMike94 жыл бұрын
No, it's absolutely rock solid on this 243. You can even use thread locker if you want but I haven't had any problems so far. A quality product for sure! Thanks for watching!

I wouldn't want to drill along the seam of a plastic stock....
@VaMike92 жыл бұрын
It has held up without issue. If you do have a factory stock that separates because of this, it was very likely going to fail you anyways. Thanks for watching!
