Ordered and received across the country in 3 days. Got a new scope this year, and needed simple, lightweight, and slim. This is probably the easiest, simplest addition to my Ruger American 308. Installed and set in less than 5 mins. Much more comfortable than I had thought, 100% recommend.

helpful video but shard to listen to the narration with that godawful and distracting 'music' in the background. Very intrusive, distracting, and adds nothing to the video except a big annoyance factor.

I was going to buy the Matthews Fabrication Kydex cheek riser for my Savage Axis II XP in .308 till I saw this. The knobs on the Matthews Fabrication one are ugly af. Holy crap. LOL WTF? The low profile bolts of this cheek riser are slick. I will buy soon.
@mountaintacticalcompany2 жыл бұрын
Fantastic! If you have any questions, you can reach out to the shop at 406-595-1970
Matthew's Fabrication Cheek has low Profile Allen Key Hardware & has for many years & only needs one drill bit too install. This product also looks very similar to my X2 Style Cheek Riser. My X2 style Cheek Riser with low profile Allen Key Hardware is $46 with free shipping & molded to fit many different stocks for a perfect fit. This is $57 shipped & only fits Tikka or smaller stocks.

Could I use this on a Stoeger M3000 stock?
@mountaintacticalcompany Жыл бұрын
As long as there are no components for the auto loading mechanism in the butt stock, there would be no problem installing this cheek riser. I'm not well versed on the Stoeger internals.

Good video, but I cannot fathom why instructional guidance like this must include loud background music. I would think that anyone who is mature enough to want to learn how to properly install such a product on a gun would have a long enough attention span to view it without the dubious entertainment that annoys my wife in the other room.

He missed one very important step when offering the cheek riser up. He should have fitted the bolt to ensure that it had room to move fully back and not foul the cheek riser, forget to do this and you could end up with a stock with multiple holes!

He still should have but the bolt in and worked it back and forth so the viewer sees the visual concerning that. Just a quick mention as he does flies right past many people and more than a few will absolutely f$&@ up their stocks not being able to open their bolts fully.
@kalindanley28432 жыл бұрын
@@jamesc6137 Its always good to try and reach all of the community including the left handers, hard of hear or deaf etc. Closed captions was clear enough for me but I could see the wording understood differently to some, as the function or safety and not the direct contact of bolt. this is just my 2cents, you can never get enough constructive criticisms. Lets not forget the people from the south who had little left of the gene pool after the civil war, they will need very clear instruction.
