the first time I played frontier defense, I didn't aim for defending the harvester (yes that was one of my priorities but there are bigger things in my mind) I aimed to be the top dog in my match, I aimed to be the best

one thing i'd like to mention, is you know that bridge on BWC? well, using hover, Northstar can glide right over it on to the river bed, and can even fly up onto it from down on the river bed. this can be life saving in some situations. another thing, like Ascendance said, Northstar is an absolute god at downing arc titans. on hard, normal and easy, a single crit with the enhanced crit aegis, can doom a ronin. Another shot and the arc titan has been decimated before you can say "flight core." Also, i'd like to thank 4FS Gaming and Ascendance in particular for continuing to make these titanfall vids. i know you've been off for a while, and that's fine. we all need a break. but the fact that you've done this for so long really makes me happy. we're lucky to have such a talented member of the titanfall community. I guess due to lack of views we won't be seeing more of these Frontier Defense videos? I just got into Titanfall 2 when it was on sale for $5 and I absolutely love Frontier Defense. Hope to see more stuff!! And yes, I did join the 4FS network on X1 Titanfall 2.

as a max aegis Northstar player i agree 100% with everything in the video. This is exactly how i play and it usually puts me at the top of the scoreboard because of the insane DPS. Great game. Bring on TF3!

I can't believe noone has brought this up yet. Every titan -except for northstar- has an aegis perk which enhances their CORE. Ion has reflex cannon which refreshes duration upon kills with laser core, Scooch has a core meter multiplier, Ronin has a doubled sword core duration and shield gain upon attacks, Tone has increased missiles within her core, Legion has all his kits equipped *Sensor array* and Monarch gets a fourth fucking core upgrade that consist of the first core upgrades category. What does Northstar have? hEhE, tWiN cLuSteR mIsSiLe

Absolutely. It should only take a few games to get all the default unlocks. The aegis upgrades take awhile though.

Virtual Flood ok thx, but do you know if it’s the most effective way to grind for nose arts? Or is something like LTS better for that type of thing? Cuz I’m trying to get a certain inspirational nose art if you know what I mean....

In terms of reaching a higher generation, FD ranks your titan up really fast. I don't play Scorch very often but he's my highest gen titan just because I use him for FD. I can't remember how nose arts are unlocked since I've had them all for a very long time. If you unlock them with advocate gifts, then winning in the coliseum is easily the best way. But for sheer titan generation rank up, frontier defense is the fastest.

I think some of them can be. I'm not really sure. Either way, advocate gifts are a really inconsistent way of getting anything given that they are completely random.

I would love to play Titanfall 2 with you but I'm on Playstation. Played the first Titanfall on the 360 but I agree it is such a underrated game for a work of art.

I first played it when my friend found it and recommended it to me, i bought it, and instantly became hooked, finished the campaign within 4 hours, and started playing multiplayer, this was 2-3 years ago, and i still play it to this day

Frontier defense is so fun but regular and hard are too easy so I try master but I never que up and when I do it is with learning the ropes, an afk, and an open slot

I usually use Viper thrusters,Dunno why it just makes me feel safer and and as a more of a sniper class Titan safety should be 1 if your objectives.But if your fighting a scorch well,what are they going to do? Slap you? Try that while I’m flying above raining hell.

Speed is life. I just wish Viper thrusters modified the sound of Flight core so it played the iconic Viper missile noise, and everyone nearby heard it. Get those that just finished the campaign to piss themselves

i do solo frontier defence (because teammates are pains in my ASS) so i use the super mega ass clenching ultimate cluster missiles. and i end up in a lot of up close and personal situations so i use the core enhance for better electric smoke and plenty flight cores for those fucking bullshit arc titans/scorches

i think northstar’s hover is shit. we all think this. changes i want: the viper hover speed should be default and the upgrade should be that you can toggle hover and it has 4 less seconds of cooldown. plus the rail gun NEEDS a little more damage. enemies should be as afraid to face titan as much as bosses to new players

You obviously don't know how powerful the hover is against Scorch and Ronin. You can dodge their waves. Also, using hover then flight core as it ends, you double your height. Pretty fucking terrifying.

Things Northstar is good at: -Killing mortar teams -gotta_go_fast.exe -"Tether Traps" Things Northstar is bad at: -Being a useful teammate -Dealing with multiple targets -Making insane mode enjoyable for everyone else -Doing anything of any great significance Tone is the superior mid to long range fighter, but noob before lvl 11. With Northstar you have to get to lvl 20 before she pops her cherry, and even then...she's like fucking a dead corpse in the sack. Please stop with the "but muh nerfsore iz viable, git gud" meme. It's a fucking garbage mech.
