@Johnathan Smith from long range, ronin wouldn't stand much of a chance due to his fragile chassis. But due to the difference in mobility, he can get close and to he can use his Sword Block to mitigate the damage. However, legion's short range mode may keep him ready for him. The REAL threat is tone. His particle wall block her entirely, while Gun shield doesn't cover Legion entirely.

Tips: fighting ion is not that hard, and playing legion isn't as simple as hold down trigger. When fighting ion, the key is to only use long range mode. A power shot from close range(cr) mode does a bar of damage back, but a long range(lr) power shot does the same mount of damage as a regular bullet. A legion v ion match up will be about who can capitalize most on the others ineffeciency. You can also shoot the feet of ion when he's not crouching. Legions by far require the most map awareness and game sense. If you suspect a flank and you're low on abilities, you should definitely reposition. Your shield leaves your left foot and shoulder exposed, so pointing your shield about 20° left and crouching should cover your entire body. Use shield when you anticipate a laser shot, or if you fed the shield too much. Ion and monarch(no upgrades) have the lowest DPS in the game of all titans, meaning that draining their energy is vital. This meaning simply aiming at them while shield is up and shoot when theyre not, this will take time, but all they can do is deploy trip wire. You basically cancel ion out from hurting your team since your lr Powershot does a bar, and the return is a click of damage. Hidden compartment is the only kit you should be running, especially if you can do the "triple" powershot glitch. Thats theoretically 6 bars of damage you can dish. Gunshield should only be used when a flank isn't possible, if you're possibly feeding a core, if the damage you can dish is less than the damage youre taking on, or to cover an ally. Ammo capacity should always be side eyed, since legion is position based, you'll need to know places it's safe to reload or not.
