What are you talking about "it is widened"? The original staircase was 20ft wide. The movie enlarged it by 30% but was still proportionate. 2 ppl could always fit. However, we have no definitive photographic proof, as their is no known photo of the Titanic staircase. (All the pictures you see are of the grand staircase from The Olympic, which is believed to be identical to Titanic's) Edit: (After posting I looked and saw this comment was from 3 years ago lol)
