Ahh yes, Level Two, where the action is! Only thing missing was a discussion about the two-person policy and no-lone zone. Many memories of being there as a senior DMCCC. Thanks for a great video! Major Mark Clark, USAFR Ret, former senior DMCCC at MCAFB and LRAFB.

Thanks for another edition! Looking forward to some further behind the scenes. IE, what's behind those panels, inside the silo below the viewing area, etc. :-)

CAN PEOPLE GO BACK TO WORK IN THERE TODAY CAN THEY RE HOOK UP THE MISSLE
@SpAm-AcCoUnT Жыл бұрын
Nah. These silos are very heavily demilitarized after the START and New START treaties. The reason the launch door is open and set off to the side is so that satellites can see the silo is open. Same thing with the hole in the warhead you can see in the intro. It’s so inspectors from Russia and once the Soviet Union can see there’s no bomb in there. There’s more stuff like that, but it’s all to say that the missile has been thoroughly turned off because agreements.
