I love the fact that they’re just revealing EVERYTHING to each other. The conversation and the actor’s portrayal fit perfectly

If this is how titans did most of their scenes...istg it would have saved the show. We need more character moments like that...

Well, I guess it depends what medias you watch/read... Batfleck is on the "unhinged/psycho" side of the spectrum at the beginning of *BvS:EU* , and the widely beloved animated movie "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns" (written by Frank Miller) is also an inspiration for the *Titans* Bruce Wayne. Also, don't forget the recent adaptation of *Superman: Red Son* for a "psycho" Batman, who is much more murderous than the one from the Red Son comic book. Then there is the Arrowverse's crossover "Crisis on Infinite Earths" (played by Kevin Conroy), Earth-99 Bruce/Batman that is also admittedly inspired by Frank Miller's Batman from the "DK" saga (mostly "Year One", "ASBAR", "TDK Returns" & "Strikes Again" mostly I guess, since the others one from the saga, "The Last Crusade" "Master Race" are co-written wite Brian Azzerello, and "DK: The Golden Child" is more about Superman's family) and now has to use an exoskeleton to move around, since his final fight with Superman left him broken. Such a shame that this crossover was so disjointed, the potential was immense... I'll go to my grave claiming that the previous crossover, *Elseworlds* was great and should be given more attention; it's everything *Crisis* was trying to be, without all the (awesome I must admit) cameos AAANYWAY, lots of unhinged Batmen out there, the Tim Burton one that relaunched the Batmania was pretty damn nuts too. It's too bad that in the theatrical version of *Batman Returns* they removed the 2 short scenes that explained by Bruce specifically targeted the 2 "Penguin thugs" that he kills on-screen...

Trying to psychoanalyze Bruce and appear he is on Nightwing's side, true master manipulation. Crane's the one who abuses fear, but he flipped it on Bruce. Bruce surely isn't the best parent, he's screwed up. But though his tactics at raising strong kids were flawed, he has always had their best interests at heart. He never did it for himself, he did it for his children to be fearless and defend themselves so they never felt helpless as they did before Bruce made them heroes. Conversely, Crane has his own ego and interests at heart, not those he considers patients. "Make sure it stops with you" AAAAH, for any traumatized child watching this, these sort of mind games from an evil therapist are so believably scary. Titans has improved since I dropped it, I'm giving it another go solely for Dick. They're treating his character so well and that's so rare. Sadly I don't like their Raven or Starfire but maybe they're better now too.
@xyPERSON Жыл бұрын
No he was not the best parent but considering how he watched both of his parents be murdered right in front of him as a child I would argue there are worse parents in the world. At the very least Bruce never abused his kids or made them feel like they were nothing.
@IronGiant2790 Жыл бұрын
Also, really clear body language from Crane's actor! His face shows sympathy as he talks with Nightwing. He's leaning in / forward as he thinks he's able to get through to him. When Nightwing shows that he doesn't have those psychological insecurities that Crane was trying to pick at, Crane starts to loosen up and eventually slumps back into his chair to signify defeat.

Man oh man! I have never seen a show that has annihilated the Bruce Wayne AKA Batman character more than this one. I would rather the writers just come out and say something like, "Our intention is to prove that Bruce Wayne/Batman is a piece of s#@!."

I shouldn't of been afraid of the wolf, the wolf should've been afraid of me. 🤣- and people still think anyone besides grayson is the natural successor to bruce to be the Batman, the best Robin and a formidable hero in his own right as Nightwing.
