I don’t understand the value-add by benching Levis at any point this season. Starting Levis all season, he either becomes a franchise QB or he leads us to a top 5 pick. Starting Rudolph, the intention is to win more games. Not to be team tank in September, but I’d rather go 0-17 with Levis and pick a QB at #1 than go 7-10 with Rudolph and have to trade the house to get up and get a QB. In sum, starting Levis is better long-term whether he’s better or worse than Rudolph. If he’s better, we’ve got our guy. If he’s worse, we’ve got the pick to get the next QB.

We are fully on board with you! Essentially what we articulated on the show. Simply saying we're not entirely sure this coaching staff will feel the same way.

Will Levi’s has some issues that could be learned on the sideline. Losing a whole season doesn’t always work out. Go ask Andrew Luck? . Brock Purdy was a great quarterback pick in the later round

@@JustinM_NFL Will Levi’s can’t work this offense and he’s really a rookie learning a new offense. Mason had been in the league for a while and gets transitions in offense as he has had different offensive systems. Hell all of Pittsburg wanted him to stay like 80%. Fields is another gadget player with a stellar defense helping him win 3-0 that sounds like Mason can take over this team as long as he doesn’t turn the ball over. Shit Titans all kinds of talent in every position. They just need Rudolf to play. But unfortunately it seems the whole state of Tennessee is riding Will Levi’s nuts 🥜

Our defense has to do what it couldn't do last week, and not allow a backup QB to run (and more importantly, to run away with) a dynamic offense. If that happens, the Titans should win this game with some relative "ease" (winning in the NFL is almost never easy). If the defense can accomplish this task, then I have faith the offense will string together some drives against a somewhat banged up defense that likely has little faith in the offense backing up their hard work, and put this game away by the middle of the third quarter. But with the way this year has gone, nothing is out of the realm of possibility... Titan Up!

Have to dominate Snoop Huntley or Skylar Thompson at QB!

I love your analysis. Certainly one of the best out there. I have a question that seems like a quick and good solution to the Right Tackle problem. Why not go get Chris Hubbard off the Niners practice squad? He did a good job at RT last year before getting hurt. He certainly is better than either NPF or JD. Why not go get him now? I really don’t know why this was not addressed in the pre season. Now it’s the weakest position on the team and limiting our entire offense. We have to do something right away and going with the status quo is not any solution
@MusicCityAudiblePodcastАй бұрын
That's a great question and a solution I'd love to see. He also spent years playing for Bill Callahan so familiarity is there. Melo actually wrote an article on this: titansized.com/posts/titans-only-hope-at-right-tackle-may-be-right-in-front-of-them-01j8jcjhm5tr

No need to apologize for last weekend, we are not robots at the end of the day. Always need a couple of hours or days to see things from a more leveled perspective. I can see the revenge factor from last season ending up being the deciding factor in a Dolphins win but all the elements are there for the Titans to finally get a W against a very decimated team. Sincerely hoping a W on this one with a sense of desperation. Don't care much about the game plan, just show you want it more and then the team can continue cleaning processes during the rest of the season... Titans up

Great pod. The name under Travis says Andy, is that just me? Loved the owning up to the last episodes tone. Mistakes happen but it's nothing that can't be fixed. Would like you guys to talk about solutions for the RT spot, sign Hubbard off 9ers, move radunz (I know, I know) is there a possible trade candidate or are we just doomed to watch this for 14 more weeks?

We do fear that they'll be stubborn and continue to work with NPF + Duncan because they are young. Personally don't see them getting better though.

I think we finally win 20 to 14. Let’s be real this dolphins team has looked bad even when Tua was healthy. They could barely beat the worst team in the league(Jacksonville 😊) and got their asses kicked by Buffalo before Tua got hurt as well. I think for Will Levis an average 180 yard game with no turnovers would go a long way for his stock!

I think it is HOW Will Levis loses this game. If the line is awful again and the coaches still have Burks in the game dropping passes, and the special teams continue to suck... well, then Levis can stay in. But if Levis is Mr. Try Hard and tries to throw into triple coverage, can't escape the pocket, and make bonehead play #7... then he needs to be pulled.

This is a fair assessment! No more special teams mistakes please...

If you had hopes of Titans making playoffs at the beginning of the season I get how you can be so disappointed in the team. But the team has a lot of young players and/or new players. It takes time. So why in the world would you think 3 weeks the team would play good, great, or even average. What we get is a team that will play great, good and average intermittently throughout the game. and stop saying Levis played a terrible game. He had two terrible plays in game one and two. He had many more good plays than bad ones. That’s a fact ! That pick six according to Blaine Bishop who is a 3x ALL-Pro and Kurt Warner who is a Hall of Fame QB does not fault Levis for that pick. Why? To me it looked like it was on Levis but to their assessment it was not on Levis. That is why Callahan didn’t blame Levis. And you’re wrong if you think Rudolph would do better than Levis. You guys need to ask yourselves what if Levis didn’t throw the pick six in the first game and the Titans are 1-2. Now what ? Are you guys throwing around all your, “the sky is falling,” pronouncements? And if you would be saying this same stuff then you guys have no credibility in what it means and takes for a NFL team to gain experience and to learn from it. There are plenty of examples throughout NFL history to help you two to understand that your opinions on this team as of now are very, very, sophomoric. Get you heads out of this data chasing all the time and dig into to real historical team building from the past 30 to 40 years and you will have a much more educated analysis of how to view a team your concerned with covering to stop throwing up on a young new team after 3 weeks. Your being a little ridiculous in my opinion. I love your channel and appreciate all you do for us fans !

We definitely touched on all the newness and why there are growing pains. Those were awful giveaways in games 1 and 2 that cost them the game and we can't pretend like they didn't happen. Didn't love the Pick 6 vs GB, but it was less of his fault than CHI/NYJ for sure. There's been some good sprinkled throughout, but the disaster plays have to stop. Hopefully he can learn from his mistakes. Titan Up and thanks for tuning in!
