That second game was a miniature of beauty. Julian Hodgeson would be proud. Seems similar to Blackmarr-Deimer type gambits, or an Albin-Counter Gambit with an extra tempo! That's the reason we play such ambitious gambits in the opening, to catch our opponent with their pants down!
