It's almost like Simon needs to get himself into tough positions to win. I've never studied the French but it looks like you need to be able to handle a ton of pressure to be successful with that one.

What a great fight vs RobertoJBM. I thought the knight maneuver Nd8 Nf7 Ng5 Nf3+ seemed interesting. Its slow, but once the eagle lands its over. Not sure how white stops it

broke my thumb when i was 22 coming off my motorcycle. after 3 weeks of dithering they finally decided to operate. The orthopaedic surgeon was Irish, she came in to do a pre -op consultation, spent a few seconds grinding my thumb around it's joint and then just exclaimed " aghh it's fooked isn't it".

Ginger, you really need to work on your endgames. You'd be around 2700 online if your endgames were as good as your opening and middlegame.

I think one of the funny things with Simon is that his openings are just generally ok (he sometimes gets great positions), his middlegames are almost always brilliant(brings it back no matter what, amazing sacs galore), and then his endgames are so bleh
