I blended 243s up to 5 iron in DG 120 shaft, with 245 in 4 & 3 iron in DG Mid 115 shaft. The 245s are 1 degree weak just to gap nicely as they are rocket launchers.

Blueprint S is a very different iron than these. It would be more comparable to a Srixon ZX7 or other forged one-piece style bladed cavity back. They're brutal to play if you aren't a good striker.

i tested both. The 243 looks better, thinner towline and much smaller toe to heel. Better feel on good hits, really soft. To be honest it was my favourite even though it had, if not horrible, but felt way more less forgiving than t150 and it feels really small and as such aimed towards better ball strikers than me. They offered similar distance, but 243 had a better smash factor on good hits and a few yards longer. Shaping felt easier on 243 as it is much more blade like. I bought the t150 as for number one the Mizuno are crazy expensive, close to double almost and they are similar in softness and both feel high quality. I wouldn't be comfortable in longer irons with 243 and the 245 dont blend too well as their lofts are crazy and I dont want play those lofts again and get more towards players iron then distance ones. The lofts on t150 is fine, a bit strong and the pw is 44 on t150. Even still I went with 50, 56, 60 wedges. Sometimes I will take 1 wedge out.

titleist calaway and taylormade all make a good forged iron these days... but when it comes to ULTIMATE forged irons... for me, Mizuno srixon and wilson make the best of the best. besides of course muira and the specialty forge houses.

Sadly we don’t have Muira to test but can’t disagree on others. Z Forged for us was awesome! You’ll never find a bad mizuno iron 🙌🏻

@@stevenc9207 I said "for me" but yeah go ahead and claim that every manufacture makes the same product... bmw is different from ford and a volvo is different from a toyota.. if a p790 is the right iron for you thats great. I'd never tell you to go get wilson blades because they feel better at impact...

Would you say the 245s are more forgiving than both of them? I was originally considering the 243 or t150 but I was surprised at how good the 245s look. I think they look compact enough and who couldn’t use a little more help! Thanks.

100%! 245s have a little more meat behind them yet disguised in a players iron appearance. More confidence inspiring to look down on. Designed to offer more power and easier launch too. Great choice for sure!
