Just keep it simple- make all the gaps as even as possible. My (older) PW is 46, so I added 50-54-58, perfect.
@jarrodcolburne24092 жыл бұрын
I have the T200s and the 43 degree PW made too big of a gap with my gap wedge (50). I got rid of my 3 wood and stuck in a 46. Scoring clubs are worth more to me than a 3 wood that I never really trusted or hit well. That’s been super helpful. So I basically have 2 pitching wedges.

Amazing informations provided here. In Montreal area sorry guys ….there no fitters with this professional level of competence. Bunch of peddlers of inventory. One big shop on the south shore fit me in 45 minutes for an entire set taken differents club 7 as the standard.

Hey all, be sure to get fit for new once a year. Full bag fittings always make you drop strokes. I know the price is very high to do this , but you must sacrifice other things, so your game can improve. No need for coaches and lessons. Custom bag fittings and new gear are what will get you there. Not to mention you can accumulate so much stuff!

Have you really seen much improvement from all the fittings or are you playing about the same? General thought of mine. The more you play the better you will get.
@Golficity2 жыл бұрын
We've been much improved since we started this KZbin channel a few years ago. It's been a combination of playing more, and getting fit for proper equipment. But overall we're happy to report that our handicaps are down a few strokes since starting this journey!
@carolinaboy32 жыл бұрын
@@Golficity that’s great to hear. Is there a workout routine that y’all follow to help you get better and have better contact? Not deeper divots as we know Mike has that covered. If so, this would be cool to see as no other golf KZbin channel shows that type of content.
@owenrivard88322 жыл бұрын
Wow learnt so much in this video. I hit my 56 further than my 52 cause it has 14 bounce but the 52 has 8. I also make craters 😂

Swinging a bit too hard, slow it down and reap the rewards. Trust me, I have to force myself to slow my swing down, it results in flusher shots and no loss of distance.

Most salespeople at the big box golf stores aren’t qualified to do a proper fitting with so many options. Vokey needs to provide a cheat sheet that reduces the options the average salesperson should recommend.

Personally i think you would of been better taking the 9 and PW and making them weaker. You are playing a lot of different courses. Could of went 40 in the 9 45 in the wedge and then played a 50,55,60. If you wanted. Better gapping. You will end up with the same problem when you get new clubs again.
@zazhou2 жыл бұрын
In the past, one would have many irons and a couple of wedges. Soon we will have many wedges and a few irons because some PW are down to 42 degrees now!

Is the past participle of the verb “to fit” not “fitted”? One guy said “he knows what we were fit with”…. nonsense! The abuse the English language takes sometimes is painful.
