Scott Hall discusses the incident with Marty Jannetty where he beat him up backstage and how Harley Race wasn't even mad at him. Stream New Shoot Interviews 📺 TitleMatchNetwo...
RIP to the late-great Scott Hall. Here the Bad Guy talks about the incident with Marty Jannetty in Kansas City. Scott was still a preliminary wrestler at this time and Marty was an established babyface star.
Find out why Hall stormed into the locker room and beat the breaks off Jannetty. When booker/owner/hall of fame wrestler Harley Race confronted Scott about it, he wasn't mad in the slightest.
Originally produced by RF Video Inc in 2007. Licensed for exclusive distribution on Title Match Network.

U think that murderer is resting in peace??? Only reason he didn't go to prison for it, is the evidence didn't hit high enough to charge him because it was just him and the guy he killed out back ... As he says he fights dirty, he knocked the guy down and blew his brains out... Someone who was so gutless that he'd potato an unconcious man who was much smaller than him speaks volumes in of itself. And his first thing was i'm going back to the strip joints where he'd already killed someone.. He did a lot of drugs booze and was a crap dad to boot, that dude is in hell..

@franciscouch8378 I had seen an interview with Marty and another interview with Harley where they both confirmed that Marty was NOT in the hotel room with DJ Peterson when the room was trashed. Was Harley misinformed? Was Marty lying? It is very possible, yes. But to NOT confirm that someone is the culprit over a very specific act, and attack them while they are sleeping is hardly justified, especially when you are not sure and twice the size of the person you are assaulting. It wouldn't have been right if Hall had just walked up to Marty while he was conscious and sucker punched him.

Man, I have stories. Scott use to workout at Milo’s Orange Avenue Gym. I am surprised he never mentioned the old gym. Was the oldest gym in the country for a long time located in Orlando Florida. There was a group of JACKED guys and I was the little brother of one of those guys. Mike Fink, Eric, Hugh Overall, Scott Hall, Richard Chastange, Larry Stone, my brother. Most time I would lift and just listen. Mike Fink was funny and he get jacked on the juice and shrink when off his cycle, it was crazy. It did not seem so different, but it was a different time and young men got away with more with being drunk or bar fights. Now cameras everywhere, then, stuff went down and people moved on.

I mean, what's he supposed to do? Sean Waltman is responsible for Sean Waltman's actions. Not Scott Hall. If you want to try and be pedantic about morality than what are you doing watching shoot interviews and learning about the history of professional wrestling? Very few of these guys' closets are skeleton free. Kinda funny how of all the members of the Kliq you'd choose to knock, you picked the one that very very few people have anything bad to say about. The one guy in the Kliq who consistently went out of his way to put over up and coming talent and steer them in the right direction. Hell, Scott Hall had opportunities to hold the strap and he turned them down because he said his character didn't need a strap to get over and would have rather seen it used to build up someone who hasn't had a push yet. Also. Sable was _not_ known for being a good person to work with or be around. It's quite literally what killed her career. Vince and Vince gave her the keys to the universe at one point and pushed her endlessly despite knowing that she had little to nothing going for her besides her looks. One would have thought she'd recognize that she wasn't on WWF Raw because of her bottomless bag of wrestling holds or her supernatural ability to improvise a world class promo. Most other women that were in her exact position around that time were completely keen to why they were there. Sunny isn't exactly known for being a good person herself, yet she never got the reputation that Sable did for being hard to work with. (despite the fact that Sunny 100% paved the way for Sable to accomplish what she did)

I love Scott Hall. We’re all guilty of what I’m about to say lol but he’s like I got him while he was sleeping because I fight dirty but when Jerry Sags beat him up he was like he should have met me in the locker room. I was giving him my body and all this stuff. But doesn’t mean he’s a piece of crap. Just saying him and Jerry sags had similar situations. They got their feelings hurt and decided to fight dirty to settle the score 😂

It didn't sound like bragging to me, just Scott telling a story in his usual, charismatic way. Plus, let's be real here, Scott was twice Marty's size and worked as a bouncer. He could have beaten down Marty in any sort of fight. He was too pissed to care about the circumstance. He likely saw Marty sleeping soundly, not a care in the world, and just lost it. As for Sags, he went after Scott that way out of fear, because he knew Scott was no pushover and would have given him a tough fight, if not beaten him outright. I understand what you're saying about neither of them fighting fair, but the reasons behind it were different. Scott wasn't worried about Marty at all. Sags was worried about Scott, as anyone would be given his size and background.

Sorry but these stories are hard to believe. I'm not some tough guy, I'm a normal guy but I can make you a promise: If I were asleep on a table/couch whatever and some guy I worked with beat on me while I was sleeping, obviously had the advantage, didn't even have the balls to wake me up first, I PROMISE you that wouldn't be the end of it. If I couldn't beat him in a 1on1 fight then there would be other ways, I'm not going to post on KZbin but use your imagination. Either way, it wouldn't be "oh well, that happened" there would be swift retribution. I can't imagine someone would just take an assault while sleeping and then let it go. Even if he did sign his name and mess the room up, then wake him up and confront him. There are too many of these stories of someone getting beaten up/attacked/messed with and never getting retribution for me to believe.

Beating someone's ass is two people knowing they're fighting, and when someone is laying on a table with their eyes closed is an assault and not an ass beating, which consists of two consenting humans
