Realistically, Kenny would not have stood out in the mid-late 2000s had he got past development and brought to the main roster. Personally, I doubt he would do much in WWE today, much like Balor/Nakamura. These guys from NJPW tend to get overhyped/overrated by smarks, but WWE requires more than just in-ring ability. Vince wants someone like Hogan, Cena or Stone Cold. Those "top guys" with charisma/marketability.

They just go to the Indies to get these guys off the tv long enough to cause the promotions they come from to do poorly and then they fire them. They just want to stop the popularity and don't really want these guys other than to ruin their careers. Kevin Steen is a monster in ROH and his matches are legendary so they used him as a draw at first. Then they used him to pull other guys away from ROH with the promise of pushing and paying them in a big way. When they feel that they made the wrestlers look crummy enough they release them and make it so they can't wrestle anywhere from 6 months to a year hurting their value even more. That's why I don't like the wwe

I'm a WWE Guy and somewhat of a Ring of Honor and NJPW guy. I don't know shit about ROH besides the Young Bucks and the Bullet Club members. But in my honest opinion, If Kenny Omega ever joins WWE, He would most likely get the exact same push as AJ Styles or Shinzuke Nakamura. As far as Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks, I could see it happening in like 2-3 years from now. I like Ring of Honor because it's more solid and more professional wrestling than Impact Wrestling's straight up acting show. WWE is the King of all, But WWE is about inspiration.
