I too was told I would never dance. I swept dance competitions and was irreversible for years to not give up. I also taught others. I'm old now, can not do it now as my disability has gotten so bad, but there's slower styles so I go as those, but I still wear my my my cloths sometimes as people remember me this way and love it. So I sometimes come out briefly that way. To honor the tradition. It got me through tough times. Many girls want to be ballerinas, I was in powwow as is my culture. You go girl. Don't let people or anything hold you back. Your graceful, beautiful too. Use your strengths. Your beautiful and strong. Let it carry you thru. Always remember these times going forward in the future!!!!!!!
