I’ve come to appreciate Tito over the years, he has wins over so many great fighters, every aspect of his game is good. He’s not the BEST at anything he does, but he’s good at everything. Well rounded, good athlete, wish I appreciated him more when he was competing

He wasn’t really a ‘well rounded’ fighter tbh. He had good wrestling and g and p and was a big guy for the weight class at the time.

What great video of one of the GOATS of UFC... Let's Remember, Ortiz was untouchable as champion. Tito successfully defending the belt five times, a divisional record that lasted over 10 years..💪💪💪💪💪

Tito Ortiz vs Chuck Liddell is the first MMA fight i had ever seen when i was age 13 , tito was the prototype MMA fighter, power, takedowns, slams, ground and pound and fearless. I played the UFC game for Sega DreamCast 1999, which was what introduced me to "street fighting" "brawls" no rules type raw fighitng. I never saw mma before this game came out and i played it alot. Then having a computer, i looked up UFC stuff with Kazaa and Limewire back in the days then youtube came out. I've seen ufc 1 - ufc 300 plus the fight night events. I've missed some in the last years but have kept up with the championship events mostly. Tito was the face of UFC and MMA in his peak.

Tito is pretty tough, especially for someone training 2 days per day every day, then for 5 days every 3 days per day. Cause he very... fast-matured. He so much timefaster than other old-youngs, that is be very so cool. Ok ive had my fun, sorry Tito. Please don't hurt me

It's just a choke it's fine.. I'm a jiujitsu guy, trust me he's not getting any more hurt holding those chokes for an extra second. Just adds dramatic affect when the runs jumps inn. If it was a lock, and could damage his opponent's body, that's another story.

I think the technique was just far more rudimentary. A average grappler now regardless of steroids would put grapple the legends of their time. You can sort of still see MMA transitioning now. Look what Khabib did to Porier that is consider pretty damn well rounded.
