Every time his mother apologizes to him it breaks my heart...I love this show. I wish it was on TV still.

i just saw on the credits, that not only was Erin (the real one) a producer's assistant (nothing gained for guessing which one), but apparently, Titus helped write the theme music for the show. Cool :-)

I believe that he wrote this episode alone, and this is what he wanted to happen with his mother...although he knew how the ENTIRE scenario would play out...down to his mom chasing his dad with a weapon.

Because the Rockwellian theme is of a bygone era, yesteryear, the golden age of small town America. When family was everything. It was nice, there was no dysfunction. And, Chris Titus life was the antithesis of that.
@canaisyoung36015 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't say there was no dysfunction. People back in that so-called idyllic era that Norman Rockwell painted knew how to hide dysfunctional behavior or rationalize it. Now, it's hard to do.
@NJNJNJNJNJNJ15 жыл бұрын
Norman Rockwell is an artist who made very distinctive pretty house-family-tree paintings. Stereotypically white picket families. "Norman Rockwell is bleeding" pretty much means that the perfect family just went to hell; AKA the shows' meaning.

What the heck was Erin/Cynthia singing before she passed out?
@glenngriffon80326 жыл бұрын
"Too Ra Loo Ra Loo Ral" an old Irish lullaby. Erin is Irish Catholic.
@Yoxiv11 жыл бұрын
If you look close, you can see Cynthia kind of smiles when Chris licks her face. She probably wasn't expecting that in the script, lol

He means the whole idea of the loving functional family is dead, since his life was the extreme opposite of that, filled with unfaithful parents, multiple divorces, drug abuse, murder, suicides, psychotic behavior, death, bloodshed, and Mormonism (one of his uncles was a Mormon).
