As a reader of the Bosch novels, when season 1 came out, it was almost like rereading the book. Few shows have ever been so literal to the source, and Titus' performance was like watching Bosch walk right off the pages of the novels. Interested to hear him as Rorschach, though gotta say Jackie Earle Haley was a legend in the movie. Also, if you ever have Jeri Ryan on, please ask about her scenes with Titus on Bosch, they were so great together, she really killed it.

Titus Welliver has been great in everything I have seen him in. The two Bosch series are great. (As is Longmire, I am writing this as you were hoping for another season of it. ME TOO). When I saw him on Titans as Lex Luthor, I loved his portrayal there as well. Second only to Rosenbaum, in my opinion and I was crestfallen his role was so brief. Great episode. It didn't come up during the chat, but Titus does the most incredible Al Pacino impression I've ever seen. And not just one -- three different impressions at different stages in Pacino's career. I hesitate to use the word "awesome" because it's been used so often that it's become meaningless, but, yeah, it was awesome! Re voice acting: I remember Peter O'Toole at James Lipton's Actor's Studio had been asked to give advice to the acting students, whereupon he said: "Work on your voice. It's 80% of what you do."

Hey Katee love your show and your work, but wanted to point out that for disabled guys like myself computer games can be a god send. They let me have experiences I would never be able to have on my own and there is a lot more depth to a lot of the games than it may seem. So just a heads up that games offer a lot to differently abled people who can't get in great shape an run marathons / go on bike rides. I'm not mad at all by the way, just wanted you to be aware that there are some benefits to technology. Best wishes to you, I'll continue to watch your show. IDK what the deal is with why Bosch doesn't get the recognition it deserves. Easily in my all time top 5 shows, and that's a very high bar. You never hear about it from anybody though. I mean clearly people are watching it for Amazon to pay for 7 seasons of it, then 3 seasons of a spin-off that is essentially the same show, but nobody ever talks about it. High time people put respect on the name.

Kinda interesting to see Parents who were allow to watching anything are the ones who watch their children over what they watch, or read, or play. You know, I’m a gamer. But never once have I thought, “I wish I have played more games as a child.” But as a musician, I absolutely have wished that I had played more piano or guitar as a child. Every day. Can’t change the past, but I can change my future. So I’m turning on the PlayStation less these days. And picking up my guitar every day. I wish more kids got the chance to discover whatever their talent might be at a young age. But sadly, society is just screaming at them to be like everyone else and watch TV or doom scroll on TikTok.

Ooooh... Snack-off show... Soap also has a lot to do with why people look so much younger now than they did when we were children. Back in the 70s and 80s they transitioned soaps away from having lye in their formulas, and lye has a drastic effect on the age of your skin. Modern soaps don't have lye in them anymore. Thus Sean Connery looked 45 when he filmed his first Bond movie at the age of 31, and most people think I look 40 when I turn 50 next year.

Having a few Welliver guest appearances for some very tenuous continuity for a new show based on a character that thus far appeared one episode of Legacy, thanks I’ll pass.

feedback : that toggling between both cams, focusing on who ever is talking, is way way too much. it makes the show unwatchable imo. how to fix: stay on two cams most of the time, focus one one cam when the response also has an interrsting visual queue (like say when the person is laughing, or makes an expressing face astonished, angry, reflexing, etc)., or it's a long quote. dont forget that sometime the person who's not talking may have an interresting facial expression in response to wat's [s]he's hearing... all in all , way to much switching when the people use small phrases.
@funkymoine821Ай бұрын
in movie making there is a rule: the camera must never *CROSS THE LINE*. meaning if there is a conversation and A is on the left and B on the right, the camera must not move/switch/whatever so that A is on the other side. it's a cardinal rule. you broke it. don't ;p
@robingadsby7098Ай бұрын
@@funkymoine821 good feedback on the switching cameras too often. But doesn’t look like the line was crossed. In every double framed shot, Titus stays on the left and Katee stays on the right. Though I might have missed one 🤷🏻♂️
