Beautifully done Titus. It is so very true that paintings or parts of ones that perhaps weren’t something we would use do inspire our color palette or composition. This morning I had a piece of a large one that made me stop the direction of my composition and reorient myself to do what seemed a better choice. I am very happy for your new space and totally agree with how you are planning your gallery. It’s a great beginning for this year. Wonderful!😊

Your story of the circuit boards reminds me of the artist in La Carte et le Territoire by Michel Houellebecq, who starts by painting metal objects, then moves to painting maps, and then finally to portraits.

You really captured the wintery essence of the town in your new painting. The first wash was very well done and very skillful it really set up the whole painting. What type of pencil were you using for the detail?

I enjoyed this video very much Titus. I regretably have not visited Holland so your paintings give me an insight into the urban topography, and I love all things Dutch. Happy new year Titus, and best wishes for the new gallery and new work space 🙏
