Is there a lot of upward flexion on the bottom of the canoe, seeing as it is one flat piece?

Thank you for the question! Yes, the bottom does indeed bend up a little, especially when there are waves. So far I haven't had a problem with it and have already done a few tours with the canoe. But I think a keel and possibly also cross reinforcements above the bottom plate would greatly reduce the wobbling.

Even though you thought it would take less time and money, I think 100 hours and 900€ is still impressive for an exploratory project like this, respect! Drop a comment if you do end up adding a keel.
