Stem Cell therapy needs to be approved here in the US. If TJ did the surgery and stem cells here he might have had a chance. Shoulder injuries are brutal and one of the worst to have because it can drive you nuts always trying to compensate with your other muscles and neck till everything get out of whack. If you dont find a good doctor and do the PT to the tee and stretch everyday for the rest of your life you wont fix the problem. Ive never met one person who's had multiple dislocations and healed their shoulder even with surgery.

What a stupid statement. Plain stupid. Fans aren’t owed anything? So they pay $80 for nothing, every fighter could just show up and lay down if they wanted to? If the fighters want to “provide for their families and nothing more”, then they should get a job that’s not in the sports and entertainment industry. You think the UFC, who pays them often large amounts of money, doesn’t expect them to perform effectively? They deserve nothing either? The only thing that matters is the fighter making money? How ignorant of you

With as popular as sports betting is getting, you can't have stuff like this happening. I'm sure he'll get a talking to by the UFC...you have to pretend that it happened mid-fight & not talk about hiding injuries coming into a fight. Anyone who bet TJ (or had him in a parlay) has to be livid & I'm assuming sportsbooks did not give a mulligan on those bets.

So many injuries could have been avoided if fighters train smart rather than hard. Being relatively young yet having the body of a 70 years old is so sad especially when you've practiced sports for your entire life to reach your physical prime only for the opposite to happen.

@undoctrinatedtruth75752 жыл бұрын
This is truly crazy to hear and has officially proved my point on TJ’s entire career. TJ body is incredibly prone to injury. Throughout his career he has had nothing but injury after injury and the ONLY reason he has been successful in those fights is because of two things. 1) TJ is a brave mutha he puts it all on the line to get his reward. 2) He is a gear user. The EPO was used NOT to cut weight that was the excuse but it was really because of his injuries. He needed EPO because it produces more and more red blood cells in order to maintain the body’s current integrity. He also has a camber at his house that helps with this also. Now that EPO is gone from his system his body’s integrity has finally caught up to him. When it’s all said and done there will be a “Tell all book” that addresses his use with PEDs and his body from years of sports. His biggest strength is his weakness “PRIDE” and it always comes before the fall. First was the 2 year suspension and the next will be the End of his Career!
@stevencoardvenice2 жыл бұрын
Most mma fans think EPO is steroids. They also think only the fighters who test positive are using PED's. It's hilarious. Luke thomas tries to tell them the truth, but no one listens. Maybe they will listen to a tell-all book
@trevormarcray2 жыл бұрын
Was a BS move. You can't fight injured. The space should've been made for another deserving fighter. Super unclassy TJ. He was never going to win the fight. At this level it's impossible to go into a fight with an injury of that magnitude.

Is it just a coincidence that tj and Pico both train with the same strength and conditioning coach Sam Calvita (not sure if you spell his last name that way) and both pulled their arms out the socket. Same arm as well. Also im not 100% on this but I believe t-city trained with Calvita before his last fight and also pulled out his shoulder. There is something to say about maybe these guys are being overtrained there. 🤔

Not a fan of TJs PED use or his departure from team alpha male but now I kinda feel bad for the guy. I hope he can heal up and climb that ladder again. I wouldn’t be surprised if TJ climbs his way back to a title shot in the next two years. But he has to be able to heal and probably not fight or spar hard for a few months. He’s an exciting fighter to watch when he’s healthy.

He won't. TJ stated hitting his peak in 2014 and held it until 2018. That's pretty normal. The last few years of his prime was lost due to suspensions. Now he is older and keeps getting injured. He is NOT getting better. It'd basically be impossible given his situation. That's just human nature and his circumstances. I used to be a fan of him too. Very disappointing end to his career. His last 3 fights I mean
