Amazing. Beautiful. Thank you for showing us what's out there... so near yet so far for most of us.

Thank you. Glad you liked it. It’s a wonderful underwater world out there.

You really know how to rub salt in the wounds Tom... 4 metre viz, diving at lunchtime, and even jesting about ditching a 7mm suit! Great fun & beautiful soft corals etc even in the shallows.👌

Its safe to say things have changed a bit recently! St Andrews is full of surfers lately. No diving for a long time to come!

Hi Tom, really enjoying your content. I'm local to the area, Tayport, and fish the NE coast. Do you ever see bass when diving in St Andrews? Often thought of targeting them, off Kinkell Braes looks promising. Cheers

Hi Rik - I’ve been diving there 15 years and I can count on one hand the number times I’ve seen bass. However 2 of those times were 2021. In September I saw loads of them. Sea trout also spotted about 1x per year. Always a fleeting glimpse, but they are there

Im really curious as to how you fight the cold especially without gloves and boots

I always wear gloves and boots - well almost always. Very rarely in late summer I’ll skip the gloves. The waters usually warm enough then

Hi Tom, I'm just across in Dundee so this looks like a great spot. Where did you dive from?
@tjashton4 жыл бұрын
This was just by the Aquarium in St Andrews. I got in the water at the rocks at the end of West Sands. It’s nice but very shallow.

Thanks for that, Tom. It looks beautiful. Hopefully get across in the coming weeks. Cheers for posting
