Same, I was 5 when the game released and since I grabbed it at the age of 8/9 years old, I thought it had come out then, back when even a few years difference would be felt. When I found out it came out in 2004 I was shocked, it's crazy how well rockstar utilized the ps2 hardware and who knows what else they could've squeezed in there with even slightly better specs.

If we are actually serious, then RDR2 is the best game ever made. It's story and setting is unrivaled. 2018, and still only a handful of games have come a little bit close. I love San Andreas and I still play it from time to time on my PS2, but actually calling it the best game ever, is like saying Skype is the best communication service ever. Yeah, Games like cyberpunk has only reached GTA san Andreas world interaction, this is why Rockstar is not hurry with GTA 6 because they don't have competition in making modern setting (and wild west setting) games
@Z38_USАй бұрын
@@santiagomoralesgarcia1802 Not really about the setting more about how Rockstar handles it's worlds and displays them to the player. Go through the entire map of GTA 5, you won't find a single copy and pasted house, literally not one. Some houses look very similiar (same build style for certain blocks happens irl too) but they are still different in their details. Comparing that to any other open world game similiar to GTA it becomes quickly noticeable that a lot of games copy and paste certain buildings. The attention to detail Rockstar puts in it's worlds is what makes them so great and they have done that for a while now which is exactly why they feel so unique, no two buildings or alleys are the same.

I think the ideal GTA SA remaster is how most people mod the PC version with SkyGFX etc. Anything beyond that ruins it imo. GTA SA is supposed to look simple and unrealistic
