Good video. I've had an OEM Audio Plus setup in my BRZ for about 18 months now. One quick suggestion that I do to add a little more bass is to just always keep the back seat folded down.

If you want to mess with the bass try looking at your amp. Ams usually have knobs. Those knobs can adjust your bass, how loud the woofer is and Highs lows etc..

+KMEninety335 I've read many reviews on it on the forums. If you're an audiophile or anywhere near one, you probably won't like it very much. Most people's complaints were that for the same price as OEM+ aftermarket setup, you could put together your own setup that sounds a ton better. (punchy bass/mids, not super clear or great quality but still improvement over stock system by fields) Not super versatile. But gets the job done if you don't have super expectations for your audio system. What you get for that high priced kit, is basically everything you need to make it look stock. That's why it's priced so high, as it is designed as a stock speaker system would be designed for a car (which usually aren't extremely versatile in the first place). so in summary, if you're cool with improvement over stock sound system coupled with lower quality bass/subwoofer, then go for it!! However, if you like your subwoofer to be extremely clear with hits and distinguish between frequencies better, build your own setup.

Great!! I really want to go for it as well, It looks so clean and nice! But I am nervous about spending the money to go for it and not be fully satisfied with the sound long term. As for the HU, I am considering doing the same myself. Haven't decided yet. It's either upgraded HU or using a one of those external eq Line drivers from the HU. If you do, you should post on your channel you upgrading the HU! I've read it's rather tricky with the new wiring and integrated controls but I am not great with wiring so there's that. Anywa, Best of luck to ya!!

+Justin L No, not at all. Remember, with this setup you're paying for a stock OEM fit, not super high quality. If you want heavy bass, go for a decent, Idk, 400 watt system (amp + sub rated for 400rms). That's a good mid power. anything below that and you really start to lose out on sound quality in your bass.

+doctacos1 400 was a number I threw out. I had a 10 inch 300 watt jl sub, built with the proper specs on the box, it could hardly hit through my trunk (i couldn't feel that shit at all). I was super disappointed :(. I went from that to a 600 watts flat mount (maxed size box). That was amazing. I miss it

Generally the BRZ comes with a touch screen head unit it out of the factory, not sure whether or not his is though. To get a decent touch screen head unit could cost around $450-$500. Anything cheaper then that isn't anything to waste your time or money on.

Sounds like a good value at $1,500. You are limited by the horrible, horrible factory radio. Your $1,500 would be better spent on Morel 3 ways and an High quality aftermarket radio. It would NOT play as loud as the OEM but most likely would sound much better. Still seams like a good value for those folks that want better sound but don't know much about audio.
