Could you do a video about the type of workouts you should do in The season
@tjltraining

sure, don't over complicate it, 2-3 days a week of strength work doing compound movements, focus on recovery and taking care of your body

@@tjltraining how many times a week during the season would you recommend doing skill workout sessions?
@tjltraining
@tjltraining Ай бұрын
@@yoo3127 it's dependent on age, how much you play, but I would say do at least supplementary work 6 days a week

Do you think its better to train indivual skills for example monday =ball handling, tuesday = shooting or to do it all at once like in this workout?
@tjltraining
@tjltraining Ай бұрын
Do it all at once, it adds variability and makes the training more realistic because you are training the skills in the context of how they would be used which leads to more transfer

some of the athletes i know, get up (6am) an hour earlier than theyre supposed to and do 45 mins of ballhandling... then a workout at or after school and then shooting n movement drills at or after dinner. not sure if that helps. this does not include private sessions or team practicing, this is their ALONE workout time, which EVERY athlete should have, alone time, no distractions.

Hi! I’m Anna,16 years old and I’m Russia basketball player. I wan be better. So my high 178 (5′ 10″). My whole life I play C and PF. Now I playing PF. I really need to become a forward or Shooting guard. Every single day I practice a lot, But I don't know how to train for results. In our country it is not usual that a child can train additionally and a lot. So sometimes I don't get a gym and have to train outside. But winter is coming and I'll have to do something about it. Every day I learn English, Therefore, there may be errors. I need advice on how to change my attitude, how to make a proper training plan and it gets easier. I really need advice, no one else can give it to me. I need advice on how to change my playing position, how to make a proper training plan and to be the best I can be. I really need advice, there is no one with me who can help me

How do you workout by yourself while still being effective and getting better?
@tjltraining
@tjltraining Ай бұрын
Knowing what you need to work on, and finding creative ways to constantly challenge yourself within that. It’s not crazy complicated but takes actually thinking and planning which most players don’t want to do
