I know there are more people out there making videos about the TK panel, but not like yours. You are the best instructor by far on the whole internet !!!. I loooooooooove your videos !!!. Thanks Dave for those and for the priceless pdf's.

Wow, what a great set. I didn't realize how powerful the cmd/ctrl key could be with the TK panel. Thanks Dave!

Wow … that was full-on ! Loads of helpful stuff . Love D&B with a solid colour through a mask. It looks like the result would be more subtle than the usual painting through a selection…🙋🏼♂️

thank you Dave for this magnificent work, I am French, and recent user of Photoshop. At the moment I work a lot with Lightroom, but I'm coming more and more to Ps and I think Tony's plugin is fantastic. Only one downside, I'm bad at English ^^ and I'm starting to have problems with my eyes, one on the subtitles and the other on the cursor of your computer, finally all that for laughs and thank you for your investment in all these trainings👍

As always Dave, extremely useful information! I've never used PS so much since following you and your tutorials on using Tony's TK8! Everyday' s a school day as we say but I am at least learning and becoming more confident with PS...One thing I'd like, that you have used for as long as I have been watching you is your "before and after action" I have tried to make something, lol but it's all beyond me currently! I use Topaz products, down to you! Another action I'd like, as my way is slowing me down! lol. TK Friday starts my weekend off, your nothing less than the best, thanks Dave

This 2 part series is amazingly useful. You found and demonstrated so many hidden features. Because of your TK Friday series, I depend on the TK panels for 95% of my Photoshop post processing. And after watching last week and this week my TK skills are greatly improved. Shout out to Tony K for creating a powerful Photoshop add on set of Panels. Thanks Tony. And of course Thanks Dave!!!

Hi Dave: Thanks for taking the time for putting this material together. The Part 1 & Part 2 videos are great resources for the use of TK8. Keep well. . . Keith

Dave, great info, as always. Many of these I had used but had forgotten about the Cmd/CTL modifier. I use Smart Objects and really can use the last tip about applying a mask to the smart filter instead of the layer.

Thank you again Dave for another great tips video. Did you do a video on how to save those channels for Lights 1, Mid 2, Darks 1. Most appreciated. Highly recommended to all photographers.
@thejoyofeditingwithdavekelly Жыл бұрын
I have not done a video on that. I have shown how to save Luminosity masks in many videos. When you are creating a mask one of the output options is to save a mask in channels (middle button bottom row output options) and you can easily access them by using the “My Channels” button on the Multi-Mask panel.

Dave: I can't thank you enough for this. I have now completely revamped My Actions menu and couldn't have done it without your sage advice and brilliant video. I really appreciate all you do for our community each week as I know it has improved all of our post processing and understanding of the mechanics behind all of this. Have a wonderful weekend, and, once again, thanks a million!

I like the smart object feature but I often take a burst (generally 5) of photos with my drone ( low resolution) and import them in layers in PS. I then Aline and make all those layers (they are all selected when I do it) into a Smart Object. I then create a stack (mean) in the stack function in smart objects in layers. I wonder if that works with the trick you mentioned
@TonyKuyper Жыл бұрын
No, that technique is different. What Dave demoed is a shortcut for creating a smart object from a stamp visible layer. What you are describing is creating a smart object that includes the 5 photos (layers) in the smart object itself. That's not what Dave was doing. However, with TK8, you could select all the 5 layers on the Layers panel and then click the smart object button on Combo/Cx to create a smart object with the selected layers inside it. That would accomplish what you are trying to do.
