I love the Frollo performance so very much. You can tell that this Frollo really believes in himself and his path, which makes him so very, very compelling and more interesting. There's also a tenderness for Quasimodo, despite the face he obviously still sees him as a curse and a burden. Also, the vocals of the saints and gargoyles are incredible!

"You can hardly speak." "You can barely walk!" That unexpected line got a chuckle out of me, haha. I am seriously amazed at how good this production is!! So much heart and talent all around. I'm so grateful that it's available for all to view.

The Saint Aprhodisius portion is amazing. The vision, the music, the special effects. It's such a brilliant idea for the setting. I wish they had more saints appear with similar short bits

I'm grateful for all the downloads that have been made available from this amazing production, but would dearly love to see the complete show - it is really so very good. Added later. Videos that add up to the complete show are to be found at the link in the info just below this video. The complete show is unbelievable with strong performances throughout, and the lead (the hunchback) gives a Tony-award standard performance.of strength an sensitivity. Not only can he sing superbly, but on another video reveals himself to be an excellent jazz trumpet payer. (In a sense it's unfair to single him out as the entire cast is brilliant).

The one dislike is Jonothan Groff figuring out how good these KIDS are and making a run for it.

Sadly there are people who want to tear down anything that's good. Possibly jealousy in some cases but an inherent nastiness in others. Fortunately such people are in a minority, but it makes you want to help them somehow.

I absolutely love the confusion that frilly had when Quasi abruptly asked for a story. man was *bet* but then was reminded of what he came to ask. No idea why but it gives such tiny insistent giggles every time!

Well Saint Aphrodisius died back when the Roman Empire controlled what is now France. He was one of many Saints that were killed for practicing their faith at the hands of the Romans.
