Yes there are benefits to both. Mulching is a little bit cleaner but you have to do more passes.

I was so upset at how LAZY the homeowner was with his response! Most people work those hours and he is more than capable of taking care of that small yard. He has let that yard go for months! There was practically a blanket of dead grass on the concrete. Shame on him for not even helping you while you broke your back cleaning up his MESS! He could have hired someone to mow that front yard. He just did not care! Good bless you and all that you do for strangers.

Со стороны, когда смотришь как Вы работаете, кажется, что все легко. Но, в 90е годы, у нас в стране стало всё рушится, закрылись почти все предприятия. И меня взяли в порт, структура называлась благоустройство. Мы убирали и подметали районы порта, занимались стрижкой кустов , деревьев, гребли газоны, выращивали в теплице цветы, потом пересаживали эту рассаду на газоны, клумбы. И так 4года. Пока не ликвидировали наше благоустройство. Работа, могу сказать очень очень тяжёлая. Но, получаешь удовольствие, когда видишь , как все чисто и красиво после уборки. Какие прекрасные цветы растут. Нам, все докеры, начальники районов , говорили спасибо! Я, понимаю Вас!

Congratulations!!! You were so nice to this able body resident with his lame excuse.... 6:44 So he works 7 to 5 and it's been raining a few months.... give you a break. AND Why don't these able body people not out there helping you in any way...like get off his lazy butt and really show some appreciation for having a self motivated young man doing his yard and doing it free. Congrats on your marriage! I just wanted to make a small suggestion. Get yourself a pick ax for the impacted dirt on the curbs. Use it to gouge out the impacted dirt then shovel it. Works so much better than fighting it with a shovel, imo.
