Hey bro, I absolutely loved Whangamatā. My wife and I were invited to stay there for a few nights with some lovely Kiwis Garry and Dina Martin. We were travelling the North island on a holiday from Aus and they just invited us to stay. Took us fishing, caught some snake and John Dory. Just found your channel, I'm loving the content. I've been visiting Darwin every year for the past 14 years from another state chasing barra. I've seen your vessel in the duck pond plenty of times too 😂. Oh shit your out of Darwin kiwi boy here I fished out of the duck pond back in 1995 .Also out of Queensland mallooba on the trawler the impact catching whiting as the main catch .cheers mate it’s brings back memories.

@@tkoffshorefishing I fish on the Great Barrier Reef so a bit spoilt with fish but did enjoy the fish from the southern ocean down there. The drunken admiral is a great restaurant and there are many others in and around constitution dock in Hobart.
