Too Long;Didn't Watch - How to create a custom setup for a race weekend
Step 6.
-Fine tuning of the setup.
-Experimenting with small changes in front fine tuning to gain a tiny bit of front end grip.
-Experimenting with small changes in rear toe, to gain a more stable car for our not so precise driving.
-Controlling again the tyre pressures.
Ferrari 488 GT3 @ Nürburgring.

Thanks much for this series. It’s a tremendous resource. You should be very proud of your work on this game. The tuning and driving helped me get my best lap down to a 1:58:3. Pretty soon I’ll be lapping 1:56 as effortlessly as you.

Changing more than one setup parameter at a time is sacrilegious! ;-) Good stuff, Aris. You've got the on-throttle aspect set up beautifully here. As you lay into the throttle you don't seem to have to adjust the steering hardly at all.

Very good series! I am a new sim racer but have some club road course experience, and your explanations really hit the right level of depth for me. Many thanks!

Also let me say thanks for your love of racing and your ability to translate that love into more than a career. Bellisimo is the correct term i think! Legendary!

Very instructive videos! Thanks. Your English accent is very easy to understand for a French guy 😊 I will try to setup my cars using your method. I learnt a lot on bumstop and preload differential.

I watched this whole series and it was a tremendous help. I have 2 questions, on this step after stiffening your wheel rate and testing you decided to increase your front negative camber which appears to have helped you greatly with your lap time. What symptoms were you experiencing that caused you to make this change? You also adjusted your brake bias more to the rear. Again, what symptoms were you experiencing that caused you to make this change? Just trying to understand "why" so that I can learn what changes to make to my set up through testing. Thank you.

Aha, I would like to speak as a pilot but all I can do is grind my teeth. Thank you. It was clear that in professional (difficult) mode you need a very well-balanced setup and a lot of practice on pitstops. Bumpstop Range: I saw your explanation. Wow, I had no idea it existed. My timer is crazy. In Zolder's race out of the pit and after the speed limit range, the warning continues on the panel to keep the limit. If I do that several cars pass by me. Shut down. I win the race but I'm disqualified. Ai ai ai.

thank you for doing these videos Aris! So helpful and it's great to get more understanding of both sim and real life driving/car setup. Keep it up and maybe a video on how to prepare for/race in wet conditions?

Hello Aris! Can you please answer a question? I am on PlayStation and i wonder how relevant these 2020 videos are to the current physics model of rhe tires and chassis not only to me but in my future PC MasterRace simracing career? Im sure this is something that many people wanna know but perhaps didnt think to ask or are too embarressed....

One thing I really don't like about is ACC is the ability to just jump back to the pits. I'm actually shocked Kunos decided to make that a thing.

Aris I have a question. I'm analysing Motec telemetry on AC with an audi R8 at Spa. During corners like turn 1 there's at some point a quick and important decrease in the camber of the outer rear tire (from -2.7° to -2.1°). This seems to me very strange and unreal, but I can't figure out why it happens. I also looked at load, roll angle and suspension travel and they all change accordingly as they should. So my question is: is it normal to have such a decrease in outer tire camber or am I missing something?
