How is your in-game menu so responsive when in pits?

Along with Niels Heusinkveld, Aris in my books is a Sim Physics God. Hopefully the same doesn't happen to AC EVO that happened to AMS2 after Niels left Reiza. Stefano Casillo was an important figure, but Aris was the heart of the Kunos car physics development. Hopefully the remaining people at Kunos can wear the huge boots he leaves behind. AC EVO screenshots do look great.

I used to love a particular feature of Project Cars 2 that gave you the option to change the flavour of FFB from normal to communicative (my personal preference) to aa third option i don't remember the name of, all 3 had marked differences in feel and genuinely helped customize feel for better driving for individuals, even if the game's ffb was a bit flawed. There were further customisation sliders too but i don't remember how important they were.

Hey Aris. Love absorbing info from your vids. I was just wondering something about bump stop ranges and their effects on kerb handling and top speed. I'm just getting into setting up for Nürburgring 24H and I gather a softer suspension set up is better overall. But should I use higher bump stop ranges on both ends of the car for better kerb handling/bump absorption as well as being able to squat lower for top speed, or is it just the rear end that needs a high bump stop range? I'm finding my setups are getting quite aggressive and twitchy on the brakes even in front engined cars 😅

Sim racing with Assetto Corse Competizione was my life saving escape during lock down. Aris Drives was the channel that showed me how to get the best out of the cars and myself. After lockdown life took over and I put ACC to one side. This weekend I cracked out the sim rig and dusted off some skills. Thought I'd check out some Aris on the new packs and... oh my... I know I haven't been around these past couple of years but I will miss you. Your new project sounds amazing and I can't wait to find out more.

Is swerving helping with tyre pressure on a rolling fast start without doing a full lap?

Watched this and tuned my ffb settings, FINALLY i do feel the dropoff in grip when the car understeers... before i didnt notice it at all and i just stopped playing acc.... but now, oooh god i love it

So glad you liked. The rfactor engine is the best. There is a reason that OEM and race teams use this to simulate stuff... No other sim gives the feel of this engine.

01:18:36 Aris unique explanation... not many people can tell you such info and opinion on how physics implementation feels in this game thanks Aris
@41BOT2 ай бұрын
Indeed. Not just an ordinary streamer, seeing beauty of simulation where it is instead of having isolated "haha, oh wow". I think that was very telling vehicle dynamics situation, and he could have probably talked about it for next five minutes minimum if he wanted. Because there was more than inertia to it. First of all, it was telling about how slip angle - tire friction composition and total grip varied between different surfaces, the delta of grip was massive that is why it requires ultra fast and precise steering motions to catch this type of car there. Secondly there was likely aero sensitivity to yaw, downforce reduced and then returned greatly as car straightened, adding up to grip delta furthermore making it sharper in that situation. Last but not least very stiff suspension and chassis resulting in very high natural frequency of a car, so with combination of immense grip with road and low mass and inertia it is ready to respond and change directions extremely fast.

Everyone who starts in online ACC lobby should be required to watch at least the first part of this video 3x before they can proceed to racing online. I can't remember how many times I have been clocked from the back because people simply don't adjust and act like they're still doing a solo hot lap.

I was thinking all the time, that thing i miss now when Nords is released, is Aris's stream like we used to have. Now i just thinked, what if after all..? And found this! Nice! I though this wouldnt happen anymore, no way. But here we are, a bit late, but still. Other thing im missing, now i really noticed how dead my pc is. Cant much handle Nordschleife in ACC. Oh well it is what it is. But thanks for this pleasant surprize! Cheers 🍻
