Why is that? During my family numbers 11 hospitalizations each consult with the MD felt very very rushed. Like I had to blurt it out and get the info in warp speed. Anyway thank you for caring about Jim. Blessings to you.
@jamiebell1690

@@sellyourhomenowbook Its like that because there is pressure on many Physicians and other health care providers to see more and more patients with less time to make more $. More patients = more money. Every year it seems reimbursement rates pay less, so the individuals in charge try to make up for it by getting more patients in by cutting appointment times down. That is my experience as to why.

My heart broke when he started crying. Chronic conditions like psoriasis may not be 'deadly', so they get dismissed as not critical, but they eat up at folks' spirit, well-being and lives every day bit by bit. It's such an unseen misery, nobody deserves to carry this around without hope.

it's amazing what longterm stress can do to our bodies. After being married to my shitty father for 27 years, my mom's skin used to look grey like his did, but now that she's living her best life, she looks as good as she feels and the color came back to her face and everything. Dr. Lee probably helped prolong his life just by taking away that chronic misery and stress.

@@FraserFir-sb4lk Yep can confirm. I also have severe Psoriasis. It wasn't quite as bad as this guy but i didn't let it sit for years. It covered my entire back and scalp. It was miserable. Tried the ointments at first like this guy and they did very little to nothing which makes sense in severe cases, they are more meant for mild cases. I have been on a few different Biologic injections over the last few years to manage my Psoriasis. The injections would average me like 5k USD a month if not for insurance and Patient Assistance Programs. I'm sure someone is paying for them and i am glad they are because they are completely unaffordable to the vast majority of people regardless of where you live in the world.

@@kylesmith987 I just completed a trial for a new moderate to severe psoriasis medication this month. A daily pill, I can't remember how to spell the name (it sounded like some ancient Mesopotamian demon god). I had about 35-38% total body coverage. Within 3 months 90% of my plaques were like faded birthmarks. So, I know I got the medication and not the placebo. It uses a similar delivery method to the drug Sotyktu. A small molecule that attaches to the target protein. Which is really cool I think. How medicine can be personalized like that now. Much less of a hassle compared to the injectable monoclonal antibody meds like Humira, Cosentyx, Stelara, Enbrel, etc. Of course after the trial I've since gone on Cosentyx, wanted Stelara (because it's worked well in the past) but the insurance company is bein' weird. Which doesn't really make sense to me because that's still $7-8 thousand a shot and ya take 13 a year, which comes out to about $100k. Reckon they have a deal with Novartis pharmaceuticals? haha

Was chatting with my buddy chris johnson earlier and he said he may or may not ask you out. I think he's a ok fella. Him being a creepy stalker or anything never entered my mind even once. I really feel good about this guy. Something tells me he's the real deal. I really feel like he could be the one! Take it slow. These things can't be rushed. Tell him he looks good in penny loafers. Meet his parents. Laugh at his stupid fu***ng jokes. He needs that. He needs affirmation. He's the "sensitive" type. He watches all the soaps (and cries most episodes), owns a Poo-Schit (Poodle/Schitzu mix), and drives a light blue VW Bug. Yeah, one of those. But give him a chance. Chase your dreams, baby! Well that's about it girl. If you wanna ask me or just talk... Don't call me. Honestly I don't give a f**k.

@@antoniohernandez7171 I am currently on these meds for my Psoriasis and they currently cost about 5k an injection and i need to take it once a month. This does very on the brand and type of injection though as there are several. I will say though if you cannot afford it or do not have good enough insurance to cover it a lot of these injections have what is called a patient assistance program. You can get enrolled in these programs usually for a couple years at a time and they cover the cost of the meds usually only requiring a copay to be paid. It is how i have afforded these meds for the last couple of years that i have needed them. Would highly recommend reaching out to a good dermatologist or even a Rheumatologist if you can and asking about these programs as they are a life saver.

Speaking from personal experience and most Doctors do not even begin to discuss what psoriasis does to our organs and internal health I've done tons of research I've lived with this disease since about age of 3 yrs old I too used to scratch until bleeding and it started also in my scalp I pray that mine stays in remission forever I also pray that anyone else living with this horrible disease to find relief and never deal with it again as well. Tried tested and it works tip to treat symptoms of itchy burning Cool shower then apply Crisco cooking grease (use like lotion) place gloves and socks on when sleeping to keep from scratching plaques. And I go to the beach every year to exfoliate I literally bath in beach sand and salt water. I think it's a combination of sand salt sun and moisture BTW keep the skin clean and dry. Hugs to all my peers who also lives with this mess much love to you all.
