But judges didn't seem impressed. What do they expect exactly from these kids. They were not encouraging enough. Instead they were giving looks and being mean. I understand that they are judges but a little encouragement is never wasted. That mom was resourceful conservative and she did everything economically. So this paegent gives a wrong impression that only rich people can make it. I think paegents should not be just about beauty and looks. But instead they should give a strong message w And judges need to show that. For eg. Look at Priyanka Chopra . She is a pagent holder miss world but she is a woman of substance. Strong headed, straight forward and a matured woman who realised her responsibility towards society. These kind of paegents are giving wrong messages. This woman and her daughter were so genuine and true. And their approach towards life is so perfect

Coco Caramel I used to to pageants when I was younger (I’ve since stopped, my last one was in 2016) and my mum was much like that. She never made me wear anything I didn’t want to wear, she let me pick my dress and she never let me wear things like fake nails or false eyelashes. She wasn’t competitive either. I won a few but the ones I didn’t win she always said the same thing “it doesn’t matter as long as you had fun” which I always did. Something I noticed, at least in the ones that I entered, was that the overly competitive people never seemed to win. The people with enthusiasm but not cockiness tended to do better. I’ve only ever witnessed a few times where this could not be said. Then again, I had never been in a glitz pageant because not only did I not want to, my mum wouldn’t let me enter those ones anyway.

The problem is parents forcing their kids to do these things. You can tell this little girl actually enjoys doing pageants and has fun and so her mother encourages her and helps her out with them. In a lot of cases, the kids were pushed into pageantry because the PARENTS want to win money and gloat about their “beautiful” children winning beauty pageants. You can ALWAYS tell when it’s something the kids want vs something the parents want. I’ve seen the same sort of parents in dance, and those kids were always the most miserable. It’s truly sad. Kids should get to choose their hobbies, not be forced into doing something so that the parents can exploit their children or live their failed dreams out on them.

Right, but it's not like she'd actually donate that money. Sorry, but that little quip was meant to pull a "feel" string in people - it was a cheap beauty-queen-pageant-explanation and it was snarky against the moms who do spend the money - all of her direct competitors. She said the girl was a mini-me and that she dressed her for pageants the way she wanted to dress - she admits she is living vicariously through her daughter. Just the fact that she had not one, but two children at an older age, (one would've been enough - but then to do it again, and be having a BABY at that age) - it's purely SELFISH. The child will not have her for as long as she needs her. She cannot foresee how long she will be well or even alive. It IS great she's not spending the money she cannot afford (or more importantly, that she's not stressing her daughter) but, her daughter is feeling the difference, and she is putting her daughter up to be literally judged without the right "equipment" for the challenge. This alone is causing the child stress. Be the adult. It's up to the mom to know it's an automatic fail in pageants when you go against the grain and the rules - spoken or not. It's up to the mom to know that brings criticism on the child where she doesn't need to be criticized - why even have her do Glitz pageants at all? It's up to the mom to protect the child and direct her towards activities that build her up, not where they learn their self-worth and value is based solely on how they're judged rather than being able to self-validate and draw from within. Just stick with natural pageants (if you absolutely MUST) or better yet, find a hobby that translates into something she can use later on in real life - like actual charity (what was she saying about feeding the children?? That might look great on a college resume, impart a lifelong sense of charity and make the kid feel great about herself, too! Why not do that?! My son wants to be a vet - in the meantime he volunteers at the animal shelter - he may change his mind about his goals, but he won't have invested years and years in winning titles that are basically meaningless, and he's giving something of himself and getting something back for his time that is in itself enriching him as a person...)

It wasnt good looking at all...I think even if it was a ballgown style dress it would have looked better if it was actually made for a child(the torso and bust area was very distracting because it didnt fit right in the front it looked very loose and baggy instead of form fitting. Helena Maleki do you know what IVF means? Your either really young, or fairly old. If it’s the latter you must have been living under a rock, 😆. IVF stands for In Vitro Fertilization. In Vitro means that the females egg was fertilized outside of her body, like in a test tube or Petri dish. That’s why they use to call them test tube babies. If a women wants children but for many reasons can’t right then, she can have her eggs frozen so that when she is ready she still has viable eggs. The process requires the mother to take an injection everyday that helps her body mature more eggs. A women is born with a certain amount of eggs and when they are gone that’s it. When eggs are harvested from the mother or if her eggs are no good, a donors egg, and her husbands sperm (or a donors sperm) can be fertilized by a specialist. The doctor actually inserts the sperm into the eggs. They usually fertilize several eggs. At that point, it is just one single cell called a zygote. Then these zygotes are grown in a lab for a couple of days until the cells have split enough to be considered an embryo. The doctor then checks the embryos to make sure that they are viable and healthy. Then the doctor implants the embryo, usually more than one, into the women’s uterus. The rest of the embryos are frozen for use at a later time. So, if the mother wants more children she has that option to have more embryos implanted. If she decides not to have anymore children she can donate her fertilized eggs to other women or they can be destroyed. The latter is very controversial. So that’s what FROZEN means. I hope this answers any all questions phew 😅🤪.

This is the best mother daughter duo I’ve seen on this show hands down. They both deserve the world and I hope they look back on this and realise how much respect this one video earned them.

It's so nice that the mum and the little girl both think dressing up is a fun, girly activity but not something to try and 'win at any price'. The mum's voice is also so nice and CALM!
