I think she needs to get a maid for her house and a nanny for the kids a nanny can’t clean and watch the kids. She has six girls please

Limit the extra curricula to 2 choices for all the girls plus 1 for Blake. This way you only have 3 places to go. Train the girls to help with the house. They are getting old enough to help out.

You definitely scared her away by asking for a nanny to 6, cook, housekeeper, driver. Understand that a lot of this comes with having the 6 kids but that is a lot of expectations that Danielle put out there, definitely a more than one person job.

I found the way Danielle looked at the end when the nanny's interview was still going was disrespectful. Does she really want a maid and a nanny for six kids all in one person? No wonder why the nanny turned it down.

They should define what a nanny should do...like drive the kids to afternoon activities and do homework... Also, a nanny is NOT a cleaning lady, a lot of people confuse the two and as a former navy myself it's very annoying. Sure I can help clean up a spill or a few plates, but I won't do ur laundry or clean ur bathrooms, that is NOT in my job description!

I am a former nanny too and it frustrates me too when people confuse the two. We should only be in charge of cleaning up things that have to do with the kids. IF laundry is involved it should only be the kids' laundry. I remember I agreed to do this families laundry once and I was so uncomfortable handling the moms Victoria's Secret lace panties and thongs. It just felt very wrong and unprofessional for me. And I don't judge that, you like what you like, and personally I like Victoria Secret too. Live and let live. But that was just too intimate for me.

That’s very fair. I think it’s also very rude if the owners leave their house in an absolute state of mess, even if they don’t expect you to clean it. It’s a work environment, should be clean and proper

Nannies generally don’t clean besides simple childcare related cleaning tasks. However, if the job description says nanny/housekeeper, it’s more than acceptable to ask someone to do both.

Plus, a nanny is supposed to help u guys out not do everything... u guys should divide the house tasks between u 2 and the kids...teach the kids to make their breakfast, do laundry, fold clothes and clean their bathrooms. They are all old enough to that!

Rich people are always the greediest (and the cheapest). They said they want “a little extra help” but they want someone to do EVERYTHING while they kick back and relax. Even small tasks like taking out the trash, they can do that themselves! They want a nanny of 6, a driver, a maid, a cook, and a dogsitter 5 (or 10 in this case) for the price of 1. It’s ridiculous!

Have you considered A cleaner & grocery shopper then A nanny to help with school drops, homework and after school sports on the days you cannot be with them. Always remember your work ethic will only show all your beautiful girls how to strive as they grow. I’m a long time viewer and have watched every episode. I love the way the girls are so well balanced and learning new things every single week. It’s also fantastic to see the personalities all changing even though they are the same age. A big shout to Blake for how she still finds the time for the girls even when she has her own busy schedule. She has grown up to be a beautiful young lady kudos to both of you !! Keep the episodes coming ….

You should look into hiring a maid service to focus on the cleaning needs at the house. Having a nanny do the cleaning AND watch 6 kids help with homework and to take them to sport practice is a lot to ask of for one single person unless you plan on paying them BIG.

As a nanny…what was that first nanny doing. One family with two elem aged girls isn’t experienced? I’ve been with two families with elem aged kids, one infant, one with a toddler and a special needs infant, another with a five year old and his 2 year old sister and now I’m with a 5 and 2 year old….even that isn’t necessarily incredibly experienced. And we don’t bring our cats wtf 😅

Well, how long was she with that family, though? Typically, a quality nanny stays with a family for years and years, so if you had, like, 10 families on your resume, I'd be very suspicious. I agree the cat thing was not professional.

@@lauratanner412 no, that really depends on the needs of the family and age of the children. The majority of Nannie’s are with families for a couple years. My first job was with a family for one year, until the oldest started driving, then I wasn’t needed anymore. My second and third jobs were also only a year because I was with infants only up until they started daycare, so again, my services weren’t needed full time anymore. I was with one family for only 6 months during Covid because the youngest was immunocompromised and they had to pull the kids out of daycare until vaccines were rolling out. The next family I was with for 6 months until I learned how homophobic and racist they were and I quit. The family I’m with now I’ve been with for a year and a half and hope to be here until the youngest starts kindergarten, so it’ll be another 2 years. But families move, their needs change, they switch jobs, quit jobs, they hire temp Nannie’s….you’re thinking of Nannie’s you see in the media. If I were with Extremely wealthy families who were never home and I travelled with them and stuff, that may be a job to be in for 5+ years but it’s rare. People’s needs and lives change, kids grow up. I have incredible references, the amount of families I’ve been with has nothing to do with my skillset or hireability. I’m on a wholeeeee bunch of nanny groups, most of our average job lengths have been one to three years, with the occasional nanny being there for 5+ It’s also really hard to find families that you WANT to stay with that long. There’s a lot more trial and error in this industry than you might think.

Yeah unless they cut the interview and only had mention of that one family, it’s not a lot of experience. And yes, asking to bring your cats is completely out of the question. Nannies never bring their pets with them.

I don’t think the nanny would be doing all those tasks every day, but rather they need someone who is able to take the dog for a walk one day, cook dinner the next, and drive the girls to practice the day after that.

If this is legitimate and not just for the show, that they need help, then they need to be realistic. You can't hire one person to be a housekeeper, cook, nanny, pet sitter ect. on demand at any hour. They need a nanny and a housekeeper, maybe 2. Danielle needs to focus on her health and they do have 6 children who are all old enough to take on a lot of responsibility for themselves and their home. It's time they stopped being money makers for their parents and started being real children. I find it strange and creepy that these children are in awe of these KZbinrs and have no idea that they too are KZbinrs, famous and influencers. But poor Blayke is famous for being a big sister and the others are famous for being born 5 at the same time. They're no longer cute. Thus, the ridiculous drama this season. There's just five of them but people buy into that gimmick so TLC bought them and when they aren't filming dad does. Mom is sick and how will these kids learn what their real identities are when cameras have followed them around since they were in the womb? It's depressing.
