Part of the reason for that from what I recall is that both sides cut off their people's internet, so no info, pic's and videos can get out, it's believed they did this to hide their warcrimes, while in gaza videos and pictures are common and often used for propoganda.

I'm let down that the Armed Forces are losing, I haven't been attentive with this conflict but during the Rapid Support Forces' advance, a lot of Sudanese women were begging for a fatwa (a ruling in Islamic law) permitting suicide, as that was seen as a better alternative to enduring the possibility of r*pe that would almost inevitably come with any advances with the RSF.

This is a bit out of touch, it might have been more accurate 3 months ago. Now the situation is a lot more different on the ground. 1. The number of the displaced is outdated by a margin of 7 months. True numbers are closer to 10 million internally displaced. 2. Hemedti "charm offense" bore no fruits as the Sudanese government refuses the intervention of any government they view as giving him legitimacy. 3. The RSF is now on the back foot in Khartoum, the capital. 4. Western Efforts seem to be generally decreasing, although they were never serious to begin with. War is certain to continue on until the frontlines has stabilized. Perhaps with the recapture of the Darfur capitals.

They control 6 states, the capital city Khartoum (not Omdurman) and are now preparing for further attacks on other states.

I would assume a combination of tribal allegiances, as in the majority of one side will be composed of a certain set of tribes and the majority of the other by another set. Not sure which, although I'm almost 100% certain that anyone not Arab will be supporting the official government. and the other part would be because when you're in a failed state, the military is the best place to get food. We Sudanese are facing a major problem in term of others people that came from Chad, Somalia, Niger and some other countries in order to obtain spoils, steal Sudanese vehicles and homes, and rape Sudanese women. All individuals who come from these countries join the Rapid Support, which is structurally built on bandits and militias from Sudan. In addition to their large numbers, they receive support. External from countries aiming to overthrow the Sudanese National Army and control the country.. It is easy to look from afar and think that it is a fight against an authority, but in reality it is a fight between Sudanese who do not have any financial support against internal and external ambitions who are willing to do anything to achieve personal gain.

So unlike many other crises past and present, there isn't really any movement for the West to do anything in this case. As a somali analysis used to live in Khartoum,Sudan. Sudan Army is much stronger than RSF, RSF grown under the hamadook PM time and i'm 100% sure as time goes they will be defeated by the SAF. All sudan hate the RSF right now and they are using neighboring mercenaries and foreign mercenaries with foreign weaponry and money support like UAE,Chad and Russia but unluckily the SAF got drones and control most of the main cities, factoreis, ports and airports this means they have the resources and the personnel's to fight more than 50years if needed with the best leaders Alburhan. I love Sudan it's my second country and i'm confident that Sudan Armed Forces will win this War sooner or later. From Somalia❤

A well put video , thanks for spreading awareness about our country's crisis . I 'll just add 3 points to mention here: 1- the Sudanese public seems to be mostly behind the Sudanese Armed Forces. 2- our Sudanese Armed Forces started a counteroffensive about 6 weeks ago , regaining back one of the 3 cities in the capital. 3- the Civilian leaders are becoming increasingly untrustworthy , sometimes siding with the RSF , and even went as far as fabricating a report originally accusing the RSF of a mass rape campaign , where they circulated a fake copy of the report that laid most of the blame on the SAF.

An African Balkan version. Sudan has close ties with Ethiopia and Eritrea. In the 90s Sudan rescued lots of Ethiopians and Eritreans during the Eritrean-Ethiopian War. Before Sudan was divided into 2 countries, they had a GDP per capita of 3,200€, which at the time for an African country was not that and much higher compared to its neighbours. This is because Sudan is rich in many resources and largest producer of gum arabic in the world. It is used for as an emulsifier and a thickening agent in icing, fillings, chewing gum, and other confectionery treats according to many reports. The resources of UAE cannot be compared to Africa at all. Russia also wants to get access to the Red Sea by building a navy base in 2023 before the start of the current conflict. So basically, everyone wants to get "a chunk and portion" especially in the poorer, rich in resources African countries. Sudan was also the largest country in Africa before it was split into 2 countries.

As a former British colony I believe Britain has a duty to intervene on the side of the government on the condition that it welcomes in democratic procedures that the Sudanese people have been protesting for. The Sub-Saharan African nations like Kenya, Tanzania and South Sudan offer mediation, but so far the Sudanese leaderships in both sides, all Arabs, only care about Arab viewpoints. These Sub-Saharan states subsequently gave up because they believe the Arabs discriminated, sabotaged and segregated African nations' ability to help dialogue the Sudanese crisis.

The Sudanese military is the sudanese government. Just as much as the English army is the English government and the king is the commander of this military. And just as much as the American military is h the American government. The king of England can at any point dissolve the parliament and rearrange it. Especially in times of an emergency. What has happened in Sudan is coupe against the leader of the government Al-Burhan (the king if you will) by one of his sub-commanders who was only recently included in the military and isn’t from the ranks of the military order. He broke off with his command shortly after he was added to the government’s military not long ago and tried to take over the government. Not only did he attempt to take over the presidency, he also went back to his old ways of looting and destruction of civilian infrastructure. Something he stayed away from for some time. Abdulfattah Alburhan was a top military general for years serving his country loyally before he became president of Sudan by a vote from within the military. The actual government of Sudan. Get an accurate story or don’t report.

Im sudanese and i,m in the middelof the war . From far it appears like the rsf are having the upper hand but when you dive into the battel field itself you will see that they are falling and losing their power .because of supply wich is being distroyed by the " airfoce and the special missions forces and lake of troops because almost all sudanese people are against them. Even in darfor the vast magority are standing with the armed forces .also the spla and the other movments of darfor stand and fight side by side with the armed forces. In khourtom the army is flipping the taple by retaining omdurman and advancing into bahri . Also almost all the military bases of khourtom Are being freed from siege.
