Jonathan, the Galaxy S5 uses software stabilization for it's 4K Video recording. It does not have OIS (Optical Image Stabilization)

No OIS for 4K on the GS5. Software kicks in I believe, but it's not great.

apparently, in 4k mode there is no digital stabilization either, very similar to the note 3.

the audio is great. I don't mind the the port covers as I used to have a "dumb phone" that had that and it was useful for keeping the dust and pocket lint out. Plus I am a remodeler by trade so anything to make the phone more rugged is always a plus for me.

I really like the audio. It's crystal clear and your voice sounds great. About the S5, I hate having the USB port covered. I agree that it bugs me when I have to unplug that in order to start charging. I get that the phone is dust proof and water resistant, but is it any durable than the S4? Does it seem any more durable? This could be a huge selling point for me as I work outdoors in the summer and I don't want a big bulky otterbox nor any annoying protective case. Any answers appreciated!

will u plz look into using s voice with headsets.. I have tried and it goes to google and sometimes it will go to a call feature and not into s voice at all.. I really liked this feature on the note 2 and then they did and update and the note 2 did the same thing.. not sure how much I like the s5 yet I have only had it for less than a week and will gladly post my review as soon as I get familiar and can give a honest on.. thanks
