That was some real nice work from a thoughtful, experienced player. I've used the burst rifle almost exclusively for a long time, with an assortment of loadouts. Your video demonstrates the effectiveness of tighter grouping of each burst. With these tighter groupings, the burst rifle has a better effective range, but is still great in tight. I love to steal your ideas, by the way, so thanks. I use the burst rifle almost exclusively. I have two "first five minute" loadouts to get to the 300 pt upgrade quick, and then switch to a more fitting loadout; the upgraded burst is great in a variety of applications. I takes time and patience to master the burst sweep, but it gets cleaner with upgrades. My go-to config is silenced burst, 9mm, covert 3, agility 2. I am old and slow and my eyes are not as good as they used to be, so I have to rely on getting the drop - sometimes by accident, but often by design. Therefore I am an unapologetic covert3 user. An upgraded burst popping out of cover can be a two shot kill when applied accurately. You lose special executions, but you can be quick, clean, and quiet. Many times the victim never knew where it came from. That has a psychological effect. Pairing the Agility 2 adds the silence benefit for clean shivs - smoke free. Agility2 allows one to hop into cover and fight defensively until help arrives. Sometimes staying alive just a little longer pays big dividends, and agility2 is great for escaping backward. You can take covert3 out of the game when you take hawkeye2/3 away from the sniper/riflemen "glow mark headshot junkies". I run a few loadouts with strategist1 and knowing when and how long you are marked - especially on the rifle maps - enables one to see just how great that perk is for the rifle guys. Once I know that one or two opponents are running hawkeye, I know to consider switching to covert. It's just advanced rocks papers scissors, man.

I think the Burst is most powerful gun IF you can get the handling down..if you're shaky with it the VR is the best weapon..the fact it has optional scope and the rate of fire is actually insane when leveled up 2x,as u know. My absolute FAV weapon tho TBH, is the Enforcer..its cheap to upgrade and it's VERY STABLE and rate of fire is great and just handles like a dream..so that's actually my fav gun in the game

Alex Nedin his mistake was to switch to the most expensive and you would think most lethal weapon in the game... nothing beats the 900 part to improve with huge ammo drops, no recoil or range limitations, one burst kill

Honestly for me the BR isn’t even a tryhard weapons for me anymore, I use it every time nowadays , I only use HR when it’s a map like University , Lakeside , or Checkpoint

Been running the Burst Rifle a bit myself lately. And why not! Every man and his dog seems to be running with it these days if it's not a silenced Tac 😬 Burst is ridiculous with SS3. I got a fun build idea. Burst pistol Hawk eyed 3 Damage marker 2 Explosion Expert 1 Launcher The gimmick is craft nail bombs and combo it with the launcher rounds for downs as the launcher can’t alone. You can also arguably do it with with the pistol bursts. The rest of the perks are there to compliment the launchers wide hit radius and show you how many people are you bear your victim and attempt to profit off of it. But i have had a LOT of fun with it. I call the build the nuke lol

Just putting this idea out there, but i reckon there should be a pistol event for December. And I reckon it should be called the john wick event where you have to run and gun - the build i recommend is 9mm, sharpshooter 2, scavenger 2, and gunslinger 2 or marathon runner 2 and revive/replace 9mm for enforcer.

Best weapons in my opinion: for beginners semi for people who don't want to invest to get skill probably tac and for tryhards burst, most fun vr, most rewarding hr and military sniper 🙂

Best weapons IMO: Bow, Frontier, Variable. Never ever used the tactical, had a short run with the burst but now I honestly don't like getting it out. Semi is ok, I usually get more downs with it on average but I also die more, strange. Tbh though I use quite a lot of small firearm only loadouts

I personally think the HR is the best weapon if you're good with headshots. Next on the list for me is Burst, Variable and then Enforcer because they feel great to use and have fast fire rates when upgraded. As for purchasables...you know what I'll say...😂 Betsy FTW!!!🔥🔥

@HoloPoint 1213 I love the variable...it’s probably my favorite in the game. My personal experience is with decent skill the Burst Rifle is simply the most dominant in the game. When you factor in headshot damage, fire rate, and upgrade cost...it’s mathematically superior. Don’t get me wrong, the VR is fantastic and I personally prefer it, but I still think the BR is the stronger gun. 😉👍

I have used this loadout for over a year it's dominant but I do prefer instead of agility 2 i use sharp ears 3 and second chance 1 just because i feel the combination of those perks just feels better to me than just agility even though that it my bae. Still a great loadout for any player. 👍

That's up to your personal preference, if you substitute agility 2 and sharp ears 3 for lone wolf 2 you still get the same benefits but it's temporary, if you apply them individually like the loadout I suggested you have them all game long along with Shatpshooter 3 instead of 2 that lone wolf provides. Again it comes down to what you prefer.

The 2 shotgun blasts in the first match failed and the walking on the bomb failed because of the server connection. I guarantee the enemies at the time were playing from a different country. I see this type of BS all the time.

Burst rifle/revolver First aid/ sharpshooter 3/sharp ears 3/ reviver 1 Variable/9mm Agility 2/ first aid/ sharp ears 3/sharpshooter 1 Hunting rifle/revolver Sharpshooter 3/first aid 1/ reviver 1/ hawk eye 2 If I’m playing against a bomb expert or shotgun user then I use: Frontier/revolver/launcher Explosion expert 2/first aid/ lone wolf 2 For easy play I use Burst pistol/ crossbow Covert 2/ first aid/ sharp ears

Legend IMMORTEL a lot of the weapons outgun the burst. If you need a burst to outgun a burst then Idk. Most weapons are 2hs (or 1hs) down. It’s also pretty bad long range as well. I’m not saying it’s balanced but people make it worse than it is

Not a bad loadout! A more functional loadout for the burst rifle imo Is "BR+9mm+Agility+Scavenger2+Firstaid+Reviver" I never find myself short of ammo and when teammates need a quick up around me I can shoot out a few rounds to provide a short window for reviver 1 to be effective.

I use a very similar loadout standard. But MOST dominating? Nah. Hunting rifle, revolver, bomb expert 3, explosion expert 1, executioner 1 (300+pt shivs), 4pt shotgun. Short range, multiple targets, long range/combo shots, and gets much deadlier with someone marking or gifting

Nope, this is the #2. It is good to run for 5min but then you're out of shotgun. #1 is burst /S2/ss3/fa1. But both are noobies class tho
