If someone wanted to make one of these, how many years experience would it take in leatherwork to get to this stage to do this competently?
@deaveedis6295 Жыл бұрын
Depends, how much time and money do you have? How fast can you learn? If limitless, probably less than a year if not and you are like me, moderately funded and moderately paced in terms of time and learning ability, maybe in 2 years

for those who have some questions about the material used with leather. I found using a 1 inch D ring (get 3 or 4) and 1 1/4 inch Roller buckle. You could replace the Stud for locking mechanism and use a Loxx fastener. Another question is the side pieces of the bag. there were some processes for side pieces that werent really clarified (1) do we need to sew the prongs together or just leave the glue there? (2) when we start sewing the sides to the body, do we start at the first hole or second? otherwise, great video, and pattern. thank you.
@tlworkshop5 ай бұрын
The width of the half rings and buckle is 30 mm (as well as the width of the backpack straps) We glue and sew the "teeth" on the side parts. After that, we glue the side parts to the main part and sew with a thread. You can stitch in two times, starting from the middle to the beginning of the side part.

I cannot name the exact area of the leather used to make the backpack, it must be calculated... So this is a crazy horse leather with a pull-up effect I use cream Wrens Dubbin from Iexi to restore and saturate skin color Round synthetic thread 0.45 mm thick. Needles number 4 by John James
