I believe this applies to most ATE calipers. Bushings fit on many cars. I've used these on my Mazda. Damond motorsports has a better deal for some reason...

I went to the Damond website and they have 3 different sizes. They also have a kit for the front and rear calipers for a 10th gen Accord 2018 to 2020. Mine is a 2021 but the part numbers are identical except for the LR. Not likely Honda changed the diameter of the pin / hole on only one side. SoI rolled the dice and bought them. Here's hoping they fit.

I had to replace battery due to seversl lights coming on..i did but lights didnt turn off since car still has memory ..i have been told neg off then positive then put them together for a few minutes ..turn on headlights to disperse energy..after 5 to 10 mins reconnect neg then positive..also before turning headlight switch off..go and restart which should clear old mem..i watched scotty kilmers most recent on it..i have crv 2016...sound good?

@BCautosutions went to honda and they couldnt find it after all..said they needed two more hours and they were looking at the harness or module.. so i said would you like to do a trade? they were very helpful..now i am poorer then yesterday. 2023 crv exl payments with 16400 miles....😬😎

@@BCautosutions i took a trade in..they paid what i owed which was close to what it was worth then got me into 2023 crv exl...which i am wondering is there anyway to circumvent allowing the ac to run locked up with dog in while i can run into store etc..theres only the 10 to 15 min increments ..the 2016 wouldnt turn off and allowed for cooling car for any time.? its a higher monthly but oh well.

hmm, this is a better solution than what I did. I had a problem where (Accord rear brakes) the outer pads wore excessively before the inner, so something malfunctioned. When I did rear pads & rotors, I swapped out the bushings, caliper pins, rubber boot, etc. I wonder if this here would better help keep debris out, & the grease inside the caliper pin cylinder. Bc when I took out the factory caliper bolts, it was bone dry, & mucked up with dirt. Now I got a question; I need to do front pads (2018 Accord 1.5) with the Ate calipers. I seen the factory Honda/Ate outer front pads come with adhesive on the outer pads. But none of the aftermarket donts. Do you suggest I replace with the OEM pads; im keeping the rotors because they are pristine. What do you recommend if I wanna keep the rotors, just replace the pads. Its jus confusing bc I dont see the adhesive on any of the aftermarket, & I dunno if thats to help the pad retract.

@@khalbalgo6023 yes get oem pads. Wunderlust also makes the same bushing for those ate front calipers. Highly recommend them.

Random question, if someone brought a Honda motorcycle into the shop, to what extent would you be able to perform service on it? Assume they bring you a shop manual. Is it the same fundamentals or is it a different set of knowledge and skills?

There are Honda motorcycle dealerships with their own service centers. Theyre called “Honda Powersports”

Yes scan tool of some sort. There’s ways around it without a scan tool but can go wrong quick.

@@proximalsnake0318if this system is as the same as the one for the 10th gen Honda Accord (which I reckon is) you can do it without a scan tool, just release parking brake and use the classic compression tool by rotating the piston back. I’ve done this multiple times with zero issues.
