Upgrade your torsion bars and go with a set of tubular control arms upper and lower at least 36mm with (5mm) wall. You can go up to 38mm.. Parts must be "Dropped Forged!"

You’re lucky it wasn’t the front transfer case. That’s what I did. Launched it and stripped the splines. Needed a new trans and transfer case. The car is built weak.

These are not performance cars. Acura dialed these back so you can’t modify them faster. Thats why they don’t let them rev past 6k. My friend has one and blew the trans first three months. Luckily dealer replaced it, but they gave him a hard time. He traded it in after they fixed it. It’s a great daily car. Just don’t beat on it and expect it to be reliable. Acura cut back on quality parts due to inflation. German cars is where it’s at for true performance and longevity. Times have changed a lot.

Seems like axles and transmissions are the weak points in these that break. Luckily you didn’t break the transmissions or transfer case. There’s a reason why Acura won’t let them rev past 6k. They know they will break. These are not built as strong as the older ones. This is why most are going to German cars. They are built for abuse and longevity. Times have changed.

The mechanic I have specializes in bmws. Even I’ve grown to become familiar with them. If I ever make lat leap it needs to be a manual.

Why would you replace it with a used part? $ 180 for a used axle, smh ? If you're gonna beat on it, replace it with new parts or upgraded parts not used parts from the junkyard. If you wanna play, then u gotta pay ! I own a 2023 Acura TLX TYPE S Apex blue, red interior, and sport wheel package.. I don't beat on it

So let’s start at the top. This is my daily car too. I use this thing for everything. While I do agree that upgrading it or buying a new one would have been a better option. I needed a quick fix. They don’t make upgraded axles for our cars and new one from my dealer was 1 week out. The car being down it would have got very expensive quick between a rental paying a dealer waiting on parts. It’s like plugging a tire vs buying a new one….. it didn’t make sense. That is a nice color combo u got there. I bought this car to enjoy it and push it to its limits which are clearly not very high. Take it to a local auto cross and give it a little push u and the car might like it
