This was an outstanding concert not only because TMK was at his best as usual but also because he brought out the best in Akkarai, Praveen, and Anirudh. Kudos for experimenting with a unique concept of seamlessly moving from one raga to another where pakkavadyam was part of raga Alapanis and tanam. At about 1:54, during Shri Ramachandra Kripalu .., he absolutely gets immersed in the song and becomes emotional. I was emotional throughout the song. Long live Carnatic music.

Yes, each and every performer is very certainly a parasite. Chi.TM Krishna is also a great performer. But, any society needs more an efficient and honest teacher only. Myself being a very regular full-time Govt. music teacher alongwith a professional concert Violinist I sincerely wish that such a great singer also helps the society as an efficient and honest teacher also. msakella
