Was lucky to attend this concert live. The suruti could not have been better than this, ever. And look at the support from Akkarai Subbulakshmi.. She is what one can call a real-singer-violinist. It does not look as if she is playing violin - but singing with TMK.. A great combination. And First Edition must be thanked for the great service they are doing by taking the quality of these events and the reproduction of the same to such a great height - unknown in Indian classical music.

Stupendous, scintillating & genius. Best time to hear 3 am when you R alone. This is the way Shyama Sastri would have liked to hear the song. One of Sri Krishna's master pieces. Murali

There are some moments that just transport us to a beautiful world, and two such moments are in this rendition. One, is the part between 12:39 and 13:09 with the finest ever Shankarabharanam! And the second, is the genius transition from Shankarabharanam to Kapi at 15:43! Aha moments.. Sublime 🙏🏻

The rendition is so painfully beautiful.....not one minute of my day went without the ananda bhairavi lingering around in my mind....no sarcasm

The expression of appreciation of TMK music on the accompanists face shows the superior quality of the concert. Great musician simply involved in the music.

Vid. Akkarai sets up TMK so well to sing a very good Shankarabharana. Her Shankarabharana, though, stands out! Her aalapane was touching, delicate, and musically extraordinary. 🥺

Wow...and the deepest silence after. As if he had found God in those phrases that came through him! What a moment in deed. Probably the deepest moment I have ever seen a singer have in Carnatic Music.
