I'm really loving the TV app. Being able to jump from TV to a game is awesome. I played Battlefield 4 and Forza all day yesterday and had football games snapped the entire time. As far as the Kinect goes.. If you enunciate the word "Xbox" and say it at a normal speed without changing your cadence and voice level, the Kinect will register close to 100% of your commands. Once you get used to it, it's pretty awesome. Great video!

No one will ever understand now but these key features are eye openers to new users not avid gaming fans. Xbox one compensated for the not-up-to-par hardware by adding these features. Sony users are in denial, and saying "I brought a gaming console to game ,not to watch tv" but what happens when your tired of gaming? That is how Microsoft is going to grab new fans who don't really care about MS's ddr3 or sony's gddr5. Fans want kinect, fans want tv, fans want spawts spawts spawts! Sony you win in hardware but Microsoft wins in their UI and their key features they have. I am in between in buying these consoles but the xbox one seems more innovated. I shall continue watching more console videos.

I'm not even kidding about what I am saying. People on amazon (in the UK) who have not actually bought the xbox one are leaving 1 star reviews on the xbox one. Amazon now has to take action for about 90% of the 1 star reviews because the PS4 fanboys seem to be so angry or jealous about the xbox one. I know they have not bought it because people who leave real reviews have the tag "verified purchaser". Why can't we all get along. :'(

Microsoft had the right idea in mind with the always online. It just wasnt the right time to present it and the way they presented it wasnt the best. Using the cloud could have been the best thing that ever happened to gaming, but because it had to be "always online", people rejected it and thus the reason why most of the features are absent. Oh well, they'll bring it back a few years later.

I guess if you mean far east Europe and Asia you have a point as a few people may not like the US. I think ppl here are misunderstanding the concept of the feature. Its meant to be used while gaming for example, your playing with your friends online and your favorite show is about to come on, in other cases you would hv to leave your game and watch the show not with the xbox one. To me its pretty cool. Not sure if its the best they can do. I was really hoping both consoles to be much more advanced than what they really are.

I think I'll like the Xbox One better. I've been with Sony for my whole life, but I think it is time to switch things up. I'm also worried about the apparent framerate drops in GHOSTS. If there's framerate on Ghosts, then how will the other games run? I do like some of the exclusives on PS4, but most of them I can get on the PS3 (mostly talking about Oddworld: New n' Tasty). What are you guys gonna get?

Those are issues with the game, not the console. Every game I have works perfect(with the exception of Battlefield with their current issues)

If you want an entertainment system, get the Xbox. Honestly, go with what most of your friends are getting. The PS4 is flawless and so is the Xbox, both with their pluses and minuses. You can do the research yourself, but there is nothing wrong with the PS4 that can't be fixed with firmware updates. The same goes to Xbox. Both have had similar failure rates which is normal. Either option you choose will make you happy, just determine which one will suit your needs more.

This would be cool, but I ditched cable/satellite a while ago for Hulu/Netflix. Last round of consoles I wanted something that would be a good all-around entertainment system (Blu-ray and games). I think I'm going to stick with whichever one does gaming better, this round.

I have this crazy gadget called a remote and all i have to do is hit a button called "HDMI" and it will switch over to cable and i can watch cable....on my TV!!!! Isn't that insane? Lol. In all honesty the snapping thing is pretty cool.

+Euric Dinkins not exactly.. with the snap feature you can be playing a game and have tv on the screen at the same time. in addition, you can snap in fantasy sports, real time sports stats, etc. if you're not multitasking, then yes, its pointless. but it provides that opportunity to multi task between gaming and numerous other things at once.

+Euric Dinkins Still the voice command is pretty sick. since you already have the system why not connect the cable box to it? that way you only need to know the one guide interface and not bother with the cable box or tvs interface if you switch in the future. They will add a DVR feature for free soon too.

I've been playing the Playstation 1 since it was released and since I enjoyed those awesome fun years of my childhood life playing the Playstation 1 i'm going to keep on passing that tradition on and so on for the next future Playstation that we will be seeing years from now, same for the Xbox players. If you have an xbox 360 aswell as an xbox one plug the hdmi cable from your 360 into the xbox one and then you can see it on your tv its pretty awesome you can say snap tv and play your 360

Tmartn you have to talk to kinect in a normal voice and not scream at it or else the voice recognition freaks out... Just talk in a normal voice and it works a lot better
