If You Have The DLC Packs Try Using The .30-06 With Polymer Tips It Is Good For Almost Everything On This Map And Is 10x Better Than The .243, I Woukd Keep The .243 In The Loadout For Coyotes, And I Would Take The .22 For Ducks And Rabbits!

The river sides are usually hot spots for animals to hang out. That’s where I hunt most of the time. Also the farther North you go the higher the chances are you see an Elk.

Trev, as a hunter I want to say the best place to put your shot is behind the shoulder into the lungs. Headshots are risky because you can wound a animal and never find it. I’ve shot a deer that was shot in the jaw and it was barely keeping himself fed.

Red Devilfox it’s more affective. Animals don’t have huge brains and the skull can defer bullets. But if you shoot the lungs the bullet will pierce straight through

here's a couple of tips. In my opinion, the 7mm rifle with the 8x scope is by far the best gun in the game but you need to buy the bullets with the high penetration instead of the high expansion. Also, you can switch the color of the tracks when your following an animal and switch the numbers to imperial instead of metric.

Tip: Instead of hitting escape to navigate your inventory or missions, just use the function keys. F2 will bring up your inventory, F3 and F4 will bring up your skills and perks, and F5 will bring up your main missions and side missions.

You should go to bodies of water and find drinking zones. That is the best way to find animals. Also aim for the vitals, and there isn’t much bullet drop on the rifles, but there is some on the bows. Last thing you don’t want to go for headshots at all unless it’s self defense.

I know I'm a little late but here's a quick tip: with weaker rifles like the ranger .243, very low bleed rates with animals such as a moose and bear can mean high survival rates. I recommend grinding off of smaller animals and deer then going to larger animals when you get a rifle like the Magnum 7mm

A Tip: Don’t go with the first weapons on bears or moose, on every weapon stands a number and with this number you can see what you can hunt with it’s weapon: like the first weapon has the number 1= also fox, or deer

The slanted view is a ATV bug. if you are tilted when you get off, it sticks like that on foot. just jump back on the ATV and reorient yourself and it should correct itself without going back to the main menu.

Hey Trev, I’m not sure how realistic this game is, but my Dad has always said that bears have a very thick skull. He has also said that a small caliber like .243 will not go through there head and just bounce off. Love the videos trev keep it up.

you had a lot of questions^^ 1. do not take head shots. it is super hard to hit a brain that is barely bigger than a peanut. if you do not hit it, you will only wound the animal and have to search for a long time. if you shoot a bear that carries the number 7, you will need ammunition that you can use in that area. the description of the ammunition tells you which animals you can shoot, e.g. 4-7 means you can shoot any animals between level 4 and 7. 2. you can zoom with your rifle scope. 3. you can change the colours of the tracks if you have a hard time to see. 4. you can take a tent with you as a mobile base where you can equip and rest. set it up and you don't have to drive back and forth all the time. dont worry about the atv. you have unlimmited atv´s. pro tip - if you have trouble to locate an animal by hearing grab the "axe- bodyspray" (dont know the englich word for that) for some reason you will make much less noise and you can hear your sourrondings better. but be warned. thats not "real" (check the noisemeter) its an exploit. but its working. have fun.

You can use the .270 rifle on Moose. You will need the polymer tip rounds, and typically only spine shots will drop them instantly. But, the .270 is capable for starting out on moose

I’ve played this game for about a month now and tacked on about 115 hours. I think I’ve earned over 1 million cash and reached max level. If you plan on using the DLC weapons, the eckers 30-06 is probably one of the best guns in the game. Also silver ridge seems to have lots of animals compared to the rest. Love the new series!

You should pack a tent from your storage at the outpost. It acts as a mobile outpost so you can restock, sleep, and change out gear for certain animals you are after. Thought this might help you out ive played this game tons and its a blast.

The .243 with the basic ammo is too weak to penetrate into the vital organs of a Black Bear for the most part without a perfect shot. The polymer tip bullets will be able to penetrate much further into the body of the animals and has a much better chance of reaching the organs. The 7mm rifle is one of the best weapons in the game and is strong enough for any of the animals on that map. The bow and arrow is also a lot of fun to use.

you have skill and perk points which are used to unlock new skills and perks. Which are useful. The reason your screen was crooked is a long time glitch when you get off a 4 wheeler and the 4 wheeler is tilted and not center

Trev when you hunt you wanna aim for right behind the shoulder that’s we’re the heart is and if you have a .270 or above it will instantly drop an anima, especially Bears. This game is like a rpg on steroids. There are perk points, and skill points you can unlock. Different weapons, scopes, ammo. Try looking up either zaggi dk, or flinter and watch some of there videos. This game is all they play and there videos can help you out

Also them drinking zones, feeding zones, and resting zones is where they would go everyday to drink if it’s a drinking zone between the times it shows. Also if you shoot a level 2 buck within 6 in game days it will resplendent to a level 3 or stay the same level and be careful about the hunting pressure if you shoot to many animals in that one spot that need zone will disappear but you can remove hunting pressure by getting hunting pressure on different parts of the map but I love your vids keep it up❤️
