Some people have to leave their pets to someone else or get euthanized. E.g. in Germany, PitBulls are not allowed, so if someone HAD to move, for safety reasons or whatever, they would have to leave their pet behind. But, I also 100% agree with what you say and am dismissing others replies. You said "abandon" not "give away" or "euthanize". You said abandon. Dogs and wolves are den creatures, as such many dogs do like having kennels as it can represent a den. The other dog went into the kennel as well, probably for the same reason.

mr. Pheomix He walked into the cage because they train him to do so. That doesn't mean he LIKES it. You can tell your dog to do things or train your dog; instruct him on what to do. And they will do it because they're DOGS. That does not mean they LIKE what you're training them to do.
