Thanks for the compliment! I learned some from training when I got hired, but most of my knowledge came from trial by fire when I was out on my own.

Another TMC driver went through his entire first 3 months checks. Basically had to run 7 days a week to be able to hit 1450-1550 gross. The couple of weeks he took 1 day off his check went down to high 800s. Something like 880 or 873. His percentage was 29%. He could only get to 1200 at the beginning 26%. Does this sound accurate to you?

It’s not the time taken off that made his check less it’s all in the price on the load. I was a trainer at Tmc there would be weeks I took home 1200 and weeks I took home 700 it all depends on how much the load pays the truck

Does tmc haul the suicide coils or the shotgun coils ?

Y didn't you you edge protectors and aren't you worried about the straps getting cut by the steel

Wire coils generally don't have a sharp edge, so they don't require edge protectors. Also, this set was wrapped, so there wasn't any worry about the straps getting cut. Had this been a steel coil like the one that I secured in this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/i5qZoZp4r5icnpYsi=CqZ0KrapbFGPr5R7 then edge protectors would have been mandatory to protect the product from chain damage and a strap from being cut.
