It is almost as if they are being extra careful to not over report without having validation on the story. But knowing that these 2 people have crossed paths does not sound there is going to be a happy ending to this story. I would want to know what the motive behind this heinous act was? If validated, were they dating? Did he stalk her? Were they friends and he wanted more than a platonic relationship? I could only imagine the last moments of her life. I just hope she did not suffer. I have a feeling in the next 24 hr hours we would know way more. Sounds like want to confirm more evidence before they officially bring charges to ensure they have the correct person. This is so sad.

Statistically inaccurate, although POC like natives and black Americans make up higher percentages of missing persons, they are severely underreported when compared to white Americans, regardless of the race of the suspect, which in most cases is the same as the race of the victim, not just for abductions/murders but for crime in general
